Best video so far on a micro. Most all I can find are rank amateurs trying to learn how to. I am thinking about buying one just to beat hand digging where I can't get a bigger machine into. However I was just wondering why you put the spoil that far away and why you were tripping out with less than a full bucket. That one was so easy that you didn't even have to take dirt out of the hole.
Wasn't sure the type of tree or root system, yeah it ended up being the easiest one so far and I had already filmed it so I just edited the video and posted it. I could have probably just pushed it over with the small backhoe to be honest.
Really enjoyed your video. I'm going to rent a K0008 from Home Depot for a project at home. I love that it's so narrow to fit into our backyard through the gates.
@@MiniDigging Do you have any idea how many lbs the bucket's force can lift? I have to rip out about 16 individual cedar hedges. Some are in tight spots and I was hoping to just wrap a chain around the base and hoist upwards.
It has over a 1000 lbs of bucket breakout "curl" force according to the specs. Lifting depends on how far away the boom is out. Lifting close to the machine is well over 1000 lbs I believe but extended out that capacity drops down. For example I have lifted a v8 engine with a transmission attached to it out of a pickup truck if that gives you an idea of this little machines strength. It is definitely stronger than it looks.

Howdy. I am transplanting bamboo and the 008 is perfect IF I can flip the bucket to scoop head on. Does the 008 do that?
