Thank you sir. Now you know I haven't master this but I have been fising the damiki rig since before LiveScope, or the pro's or heck even before it was call the Damiki rig. LOL Dropping on'em
Love it Hank! They dropped the water on kerr lake my home lake! What you talk about has helped me figure out the fish in Kerr! You think I should fish shallow this time of year or keep on the fish out deep?
So as the lake is dropping (it's key to keep up with that daily even hourly) they bass will pull off and suspend. So deeper can be better while that's going on. It can also mean that they aren't deep but over open water hanging off drops or in creek channels and ditches.
The deal I've been on lately with a jighead minnow, at least in the deep, clear water lakes I fish, is that as soon as that fish sees it and turns on your bait, you better start reeling/jigging that thing away from them. Been working it up and away from them pretty quickly, and DO NOT stop once they come unglued on it when they think it's getting away. I think people saw how slow and in their face the pros were working the baits during the winter and spring, and very few people have adapted to how they want it in the summer/fall
@@michaelsanchez3659 yup that’s how I’ve been catching the bigger ones. When they see it make them chase it. Now of course I haven’t mastered it but I have been fishing this since we’ll be for the pros live scope and even TH-cam.
Water temp is the same in Ok , but they drew my lake down 2-3 ft from Friday to Sun and the ramp is out of the water. That eliminates half the boats, love my bass tracker!
They should start drawing this one down. All the other lakes have started I hope they wait on this one. When the lake turns over they get in the shallow trees and It's the best flipping bite you'll ever have.
@@BassGeek Good to know, 2yrs fishing this lake exclusively and we've never found a hole where we caught more than a couple. Without ffs we'd probably get zeroed like we used to.
#100percentwatchsquad Awesome video! Those were some great fish! This year seems a bit different on my lakes. Normally they're hitting topwater pretty consistently, but not this year. I've actually been doing good with a dropshot in deeper water.
Great stuff as usual Hank the damiki armor shad is an incredible bait to say the least. The first time I used the armor shad was spring of 2010. I knew about this bait because my buddy at the time was friends with Daniel Kim the national sales manager of damiki. It was also responsible for the win at the Walmart FLW tournament on beaver lake in Arkansas in April of 2006 by shin Fukae who was using a 4 inch version. To make a long story short this bait has won anglers a crap ton of money. Question for you Hank how long have you been using the armor shad ? Sorry for the ramble I just want to let everyone know that people were using these types of baits long before FFS was a thing. Keep up the amazing work Hank you are doing a great job and I truly admire you. #100percentwatchsquad
So I picked up the "Damiki rig" Back around 2015 maybe I think don't hold me to that. We where vertical fishing small minnow baits, hair jigs, and bigger crappie baits back in early 2000's which we always just called it dropping on'em. Then the Damiki Amorshad hit the scene and that was it.
@@BassGeek that’s awesome man thank you for always responding to my questions and taking time out of your day it really means a lot. Like I always say keep chasing your dreams, I really want you to be able to do this full time. Im rooting for you man I’ll always be here to support you anyway I can. 👊🙏

Thanks alone time is great!
You gotta remember I’ve been Damiki Rig fishing since before TH-cam, since before LiveScope. Long long before others knew what it was.
@@BassGeek yes, it is!
@@BassGeek That is, what makes you so different!
What is the lake your fishing at hank
Well I keep this one as hush hush as I can it's a smaller public lake that get's killed after I fish it.
@@BassGeek gotcha completely understand
Sorry.
Np man smaller lakes where I live are same way fish are so pressured and makes it very difficult
