That guy going 'Aish' is Rain, he's one of the first kpop idols that got big. Like, he's 1st generation. He even performed a bit in the states (this was the early 2000s, the internet was still dial up mostly so the only way to learn about things outside the country was by news...literally...there was a time when everyone didn't know what was going on around the world all the time and learned about it once the news reported on it).
All of this to say is that he broke through the strictly western music in the US and showed that SK (and other countries) had great music outside of the English language.

For real! The only reason I haven't really gotten into other groups is that I don't have the time to consume all their content! I've only been and ARMY for a year and a half and I still have SO much to watch, I can't imagine doing the same for a bunch of other groups. I am glad that Nigel is getting into Stray Kids because they were one of the groups that was on my radar. I feel like I'm on the edge of getting into a few other groups too - Ateez, TXT, Seventeen, Enhypen, off the top of my head - but if I get into a group, I want to get in fully by watching their variety shows, all their music videos, etc. and that's just too much at the moment lol. So I am glad to get to get into Stray Kids along with Nigel.

exactly! he’s grown a lot since he left and so have stray kids, and it was his choice to leave and no one should send him hate for it. plus his music is amazing (still dream is his best song imo)
