October 1956. The Last Walking Beam Ferryboat, the Eureka, in San Francisco. The Eureka was in operation from 1890 to 1958, and is now a part of the fleet at the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park. Bob Durden was a longtime volunteer at the San Francisco History Center who donated many home movies to the San Francisco Public Library.
