My apologies on the bezel click total. I wore the green hulk today and performed an actual click test and it was 90. Not 120. Oh well, guess I can’t go scuba diving with it now. Still works for keeping track of time cooking a steak so no big deal to me. Is my Squale 40mm GMT a more refined watch? Absolutely, but I paid eight times more for it and don’t wear it as a beater. They both look great and keep great time. The PD is a great value sub homage piece. If you like this type of watch I recommend you add one (or three) to your collection.
not long after i bought mine they changed the specs though how they do it at that price i dont know. my watch is still a+ condition looks great so let me know how you get on
I've been using it for a couple of months and it has quickly become one of my favorites, it has excellent materials and miyota machinery is totally reliable, I liked it so much that maybe I asked for another one of the same brand but of different model.
Mine has the Seiko NH35A movement and sapphire crystal. It's a ceramic bezel and some lume. The lume's not too great but at $62, I'm okay with that. A solid bracelet and end links with a milled clasp is unheard of at this price. But that's what comes with the watch. Impressive. As far as depth rating, the rule of thumb is have equipment that is rated to twice the pressure of your deepest dive. So, a 100 meter watch is rated to 330 feet. Half of that is 165 feet. The deepest dive I've been on is 143 feet. Not much to see past 100 feet unless you're exploring a wreck. Most of my dives are between 30 and 85 feet. The PD-1639 meets all my diving and fashion needs. I'm good.
I've just bought a 1639 with a green dial. Mine has a sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel insert and Seiko NH35 hand winding and hacking movement. The cyclops on mine works much better too.So why the difference?
Because i sent the supplier a message and was told mineral glass. What price are you paying. mine cost approx 65 dollars. you are not going to get gold when you are paying for copper. but a very good watch for the money mine is only gaining 13 sec a day
gains plus 13 seconds a day thats unadjusted not bad. no stutter. only issue i have with watch is the positioning of the cyclops over the date not placed in the center but you notice this more off the wrist apart from that. very happy last time i checked was 60€ on ali express
Incorrect! This specific watch delivered to me is a non hacking Miyoto movement! Maybe the Seiko movement are. As to what type of glass it is at the time of purchase no mention of sapphire glass. Messaged supplier and told mine is a mineral glass. Has kept good time +13 and no scratches worn daily
Hi, i looked over a couple of shops online and some of them say that the model PD1639 is only 3bar and some of them say that it's 10bar... How could i find out who is saying the truth? Maybe there're 2 same models of this PD1639 but with this only difference between 3 and 10 bar?
look mine says 10 bar on it. i would send a message to the sellers askung to confirm the bar limit. 3 bar water splashes should not be a problem 10 bar ok for swimming. but personally i do not even wear mine in the shower. i have owned 1000 dollar watches that are water resistant and never tempted fate It is up to you how you treat it but remember these are dive watches in homage
Thank you for your comment 19mm wrist thought it was a bit big and uncomfortable at first as used to have a 38 mm watch getting used to it now. let me know how long it took you to receive it and any issues ypu may have with it time keeping etc. Enjoy your watch
It is a fully functional stainless steel bezel. you are looking at an automatic watch that is under 80 dollars it is fantastic value for money. Only issue with the watch is the lume which is poor. my watch gain s only 13s a day, has been used almost everyday is reliable & tough and looks really good on my wrist.

But I would cross check all the sellers to see if the information is the same My model with the myota movement hardlex glass S.steel bezel was with discounts approx 70 dollars. @@giocharles I am not an expert in movements at all but according to MY experience NH35 can be a hit and miss. I started to wear an ARMIDA A7 with NH35 pretty recently - although I have bought it 3 years ago - and it performs miserably : in first week it was - 30sec/day , in 2nd week - 35s/d ... 3rd week brought - 40s/day. Maybe it's because it was sitting for years because it hasn't been used ? I plan to had it regulated but I will wait until next year when I go home to Romania as where I live, in Canada is much more expensive :) . One month ago I have got a PHOIBOS REEF MASTER and this is much better : +11 sec in the 1st week , + 10sec in the 2nd week , + 9sec/day in the 3rd week and now ... the 4th week just passed and I have got + 5sec/day. Like the wine , it seems to get better once the time is passing :) . I had an ARMIDA A2 200m before too and it wasn't too accurate, I had it regulated , it performed well for a little while and then it started to be fairly inaccurate so I sold it .
You should be able to swim with it and even snorkeling as it is 10atm. showers etc Personally i have not swam with it, or showered with it. Watch has been reliable and used everyday since this presentation. This is my only watch at the moment and do not want to risk damaging it. Hopefully someone else that has used this watch daily in and around water can answer your question please let me know if you personally use it in water
You all make me laugh when you say a watch is an homage to an other. IT IS NOT AN HOMAGE... IT IS A COPIE with a much lower standards of quality. The only copy watch i know that is better than the original is the DEEP BLUE nato 300 wich is a knockoff of the SEIKO SKX007.
If your thinking about buying this watch go for it at 60 odd dollars you wont be dissapointed. my watch gains 13 sec a day. Lume is very poor on this watch almost non existant. apart from that no complaints a robust watch that does its job.
Pagani Design as far as i know is a Chinese manufacturer the PD1639 is a homage to the Submariner. I have never seen or heard of this brand in europe before purchasing it online my watch is still working 100% . gains 13 sec a day looks and feels fantastic for an automatic watch that retails for under 70 dollars. Start looking at seiko watches if you are looking for a more established manufacturer with maybe a better quality control. but be prepared to pay at least double. The pagani uses miyoto or seiko movements.
@@giocharles Who said Seiko has better QC? All their low cost Seiko 5 models with that 7s26 movement have major issues after a year or two of wear and even straight from the factory. Ten years ago I bought a new Seiko 5, that classic 80's style one, for around 150$ and two days later noticed the dial is a bit off to one side...It had that made in Japan written on the dial and back case ( not like these new one's made god knows where) and that's why I bought it at the first place...Anyway I never get any discount or money back or even sorry.They just said it's like that from the factory and they couldn't do anything.It's one of those things when you see it can't be unseen ...I wore it for a year and never enjoy it 'cause to me when seeing it I had that feeling like I was looking at a fake one cause of the crooked dial..That's only one of many stories how I got disappointed in Seiko and other well known brands, today they're all made in China or Malasya anyway.I bought this Pagani with NH35 movement and I couldn't be happier, for abot 75$ I wasn't expecting much but I got a lot!

In general they have a very good reputation for qualiy reliable watches. i have owned a few with no complaints. apparently current models of the pagani use seiko movement. mine uses a miyota.

as fas as a i am aware no. if you have small wrists this watch will be far to big! 40 is a good size for me i can get away with the 43 on my wrist but it is at the limits of comfort for my wrist size
Sorry to have to say this pal, but before you attempt to review a subject that you have such little knowledge of, it would be a good idea to learn about the subject. The watch that you are trying to review is meant to be hand wound if it has stopped, then the movement of the wearer will keep it going and the movement is an NH-35. You don’t have a clue how many clicks the bezel has, just move the bezel and count the clicks to the first index, then multiply by 12. I wouldn’t dare to contemplate starting a watch review channel because although I have an average knowledge of watches, it’s nowhere near enough to jump on the “watch review bandwagon” and talk about watches with a voice of authority. Take a look at channels like “Just One More Watch” “Perth Watches”, “Jason the Watch Guy” and “Watch Me With Watches” and you’ll see how a watch review channel should be done.

I'm going to pull the trigger on it, but I believe they have NH35, sapphire CRYSTAL and ceramic bezel solid watch for the price.

Have seen other reviews with better magnification on the cyclops
They redesigned it recently including sapphire glass and a Seiko NH35..I guess they improved the magnifier as well.
