Hi, Jen. Thanks for including older palettes in your comparisons. Not only is it good to avoid regrets when you own the older palettes, it's also a reminder to use them when you don't have access to the new ones. There's so much we can take from comparisons with older palettes, depending on what a given person is looking for
I bought both the Profusion palettes and they really lasted for 12 hours. I also bought the 2 pack of the velvet matte liquid lips. I usually hate matte liquid lips but i figured for $5 for 2, why not. Well, i'm not even kidding, these are a formula dupe (about a 90% dupe) for Huda liquid lips. they are excellent. They have a lips gloss formula too, but it didn't get good reviews.
That's amazing! I got the cream blushes but I skipped the liquid lipsticks because I'm not a fan of matte lipsticks. Good to know they're a nice formula! I agree about the palettes! They really do last on your eyes so well!
Single Shadows for Summer Video: Please do some great pastel quads, palettes of singles from Sydney Grace, Colourpop, etc. I’d love to see a palette of pastel transition shades for pale skin (for all skin colors); no one has ever done anything like that. I feel like transition shades are one thing I don’t understand. I don’t know if they should always be warm like some people have said. Others say you can use a cool transition with a warm eye look or a warm transition with a cool eye look. What are the rules? How do I pick the right color & undertone? Can I do an all neutral look with a colorful transition shade? Etc.
It's good to hear that Profusion is still putting out good quality at an affordable price. Seeing all of these comparison swatches just drives home the fact for me that I already own all the shadows that all these brands are releasing. More confirmation and motivation to shop my stash. I'm loving them too. It's my favorite color. I just wish I could find a dark matte green that looks green and not black green. If that makes any sense, lol.

For the profusion harvest palette to keep the creams from drying out, I’d recommend taking a piece of tape, put it over the pan. I did that with palettes with cream shades in the past and it’s worked great for me! I take like thinner packing tape, cut it to fit over and past the pan, fold over a part so I have a little tab to pull it up when I wanna use it!

OMG! I’m buying all the affordable palettes. I’ve wanted the Huda Naughty Nude palette for a long time. I just can’t pay that much for it. I keep checking for a sale. I understand it’s not as good but I can make the mattes work if I’m saving over $50. Thank you so much for this video

Yes! Out of all of the comparisons those 2 had the most dupeable shades. I actually stopped the video during ea comparison to do a count, lol. Those 2 won hands down... ✋
i'm VERY tempted by those Profusion palettes. I think they're such a great value! I enjoy the formula, especially their matte shadows. I didnt even think of comparing the one palette to Dirty Martini from GlamLite (one of my fave palettes!) Soooo..now it doesnt look like I need the Profusion one! hahaha!
A few months back I found the Martini palette at TJ Maxx. I walked around with it but decided to put it back. Every time I see palettes on YT, swatched or not, then I see them in person the shades don't tend to match up. Unfortunately this has happened to me with so many of them. I wanted the Avocado Toast palette for so long. When I saw it at TJ Maxx the same thing happened. It's such a bummer because green is my favorite color. I love BH's formula and I've wanted to try GlamLite's formula but... 🤷♀️

Those Profusion palettes look so good, I can hear them calling my name! The Colourpop palette looks nice, but did you think some of the greens were awfully close in color or tone or whatever, lol? It's a big palette to find space for if it's repetitive. BTW, you're looking so happy here, your positive energy is contagious!

Hey Jen! Love this video, proof that we should never buy the first palette we see, bc Profusion will come out with a better version of it! Thought you should know, the Desert Sage palette you recommended a while ago is such a hit with me, I just bought another one at Walmart on closeout for - wait for it - $3.25! Sad to see it leave the market so soon after learning of it, but happy for the super clearance price! The colors are true and rich, and they stay true and rich and last a very long time with a primer underneath. Also picked up two more of the companion brush sets, for $2.50 each! You were right, the brushes are fabulous, very good quality and with a slightly heftier handle than most of my comparable eyeshadow brushes - easier to hold onto, given my recent stroke. And the little zip pouches alone are worth way more than just $2.50 each, and they're perfect for my purse! I use one for lip colors, balms and liners so they don't melt in my bag. And while I love the one Catrice palette I own (Basic BAE - great browns in large, fingertip-sized pans) for all the reasons you state here, I love your advice on the Profusion shadows, so I don't need to go online for shopping, which is a very slippery slope for me! I also love saving money on great eyeshadows so I don't feel guilty splurging on my favorite mineral powder foundation and mineral sunscreens! So thank you my friend, and I mean that from the bottom of the creases under my eyes! Great presentation, and if I could subscribe more than just once, I'd sit here all night and keep hitting the keys, just to see you hold up the award plaque! No one deserves it more! Thank you again!

I love your comparisons. You really put a lot of effort and thought into what's in your collection and the differences in formula and shade range. I really am intrigued by that Harvest palette from Profusion. I'd love to see them do something with violets, plums, peaches, and neutrals. The second palette has a little too much blue/teal for my taste.
I aboslutely love your comparisons with eyeshadows! Every time i think about buying a palette I have to check if you've compared it to anything that I might have. Can I make a request, because i'm dumb? When showing the colours, can you include the colours from the new palette that aren't in the compared palette (even if its blank on the comparison end)? I'm sure in bigger palettes this isn't possible, but its not very obvious to me figuring out which colours are not comparable at all. I look at some and think they look exactly the same but would have to go back to see what the colours just weren't swatched because they weren't in the comparison. Like I said, I'm sure it's a me problem, but it'd help a ton!
I'm actually having a very hard time with it, which is why I just got highlights to hide my grays (I only have a couple right now but on my darker hair they stuck out like crazy). My hair has a grayish tone right now because of the toner the salon used to prevent my blonde from turning brassy. But I actually have very little gray hair at the moment.

Great palette comparisons. I love both Profusion palettes. Even though one is so close to the Huda Mercury, its' tempting and the greener is tempting because of the cream formula. For $10 each, you can't go wrong with a good quality palette. Thanks, Jen. Blessings!

I love your comparison videos. They are so helpful! I had looked at the profusion palettes but after seeing that I have most of the comparison palettes, I'm not buying. Also, while watching this video, I purchased the 2 Catrice palettes because I do NOT have any of the comparison palettes and I have really been wanting the Natasha Denona, The Juvia's place and the You're golden. And for the Rainforest from Catrice, I have been wanting the Glamlite palette. So helpful!

I am loving the popularity of green shades right now. They are so versatile and some of the olive and sage colors can even be considered neutrals.

For a crease shade i always mix those light ivory colours with the brown in the palette. Would work perfectly with the catrice palette

Thanks for your great videos. I own a few other Profusion palettes that I love (including Enchanted)and have been debating getting the new ones. I think I will go with the more colorful one for now.

The color stories and lack of mattes in the catrice palettes aren’t for me but I’m happy to see they are greatly improving their formula and having pigmented palettes now. Yay!

I love your comparisons. You really put a lot of effort and thought into what's in your collection and the differences in formula and shade range. I really am intrigued by that Harvest palette from Profusion. I'd love to see them do something with violets, plums, peaches, and neutrals. The second palette has a little too much blue/teal for my taste.
I aboslutely love your comparisons with eyeshadows! Every time i think about buying a palette I have to check if you've compared it to anything that I might have. Can I make a request, because i'm dumb? When showing the colours, can you include the colours from the new palette that aren't in the compared palette (even if its blank on the comparison end)? I'm sure in bigger palettes this isn't possible, but its not very obvious to me figuring out which colours are not comparable at all. I look at some and think they look exactly the same but would have to go back to see what the colours just weren't swatched because they weren't in the comparison. Like I said, I'm sure it's a me problem, but it'd help a ton!
I don't have any of those, but the profusion ones are definitely tempting. 🥰

Love to see you embracing the natural greying. So many women just aren't comfortable with ageing naturally anymore.
I'm actually having a very hard time with it, which is why I just got highlights to hide my grays (I only have a couple right now but on my darker hair they stuck out like crazy). My hair has a grayish tone right now because of the toner the salon used to prevent my blonde from turning brassy. But I actually have very little gray hair at the moment.

Great palette comparisons. I love both Profusion palettes. Even though one is so close to the Huda Mercury, its' tempting and the greener is tempting because of the cream formula. For $10 each, you can't go wrong with a good quality palette. Thanks, Jen. Blessings!

put a piece of "press and seal" over the top of that palette to keep them from drying out. That's what I did, and its working so far!

I love your comparison videos. They are so helpful! I had looked at the profusion palettes but after seeing that I have most of the comparison palettes, I'm not buying. Also, while watching this video, I purchased the 2 Catrice palettes because I do NOT have any of the comparison palettes and I have really been wanting the Natasha Denona, The Juvia's place and the You're golden. And for the Rainforest from Catrice, I have been wanting the Glamlite palette. So helpful!
