Today i was trying to open. It says someone already opened an account with my phone number!!! What should i do!!!
I had wechat since 2011 and i used it for many years i deleted my old account now when i want to create new account they ask for verification from a friend. That's too bad wechat
To create account is hard on because the ask me to scan the code but I did not have any

I do everything, unfortunately, I went with any method you can think of, but again it says that the QR code must be scanned by the person who has this program, even I tried the Facebook method, it didn't work, unfortunately, please help.

When I try to scan a friends code it says ''Your account does not qualify for Assistant Registration. Ask your friend to find another friend to assist with verification.' Why?

When i try to register my account it allows me to check the box for "Terms and Conditions" but there isn't a Green "Next" button to continue.

I live in US. I do have a Chinese Bank account, but I don't remember the Chinese phone number that I used to open the account 4 years ago. I do have access to my account online but don't know if I can survive the oversea verification process.

Nope, you won’t need your passport if you just want to chat. A phone would would suffice. Hope that helps.

Yes… unfortunately it’s one of the drawbacks of wanting to use anything from China. They try to collect all your data.

Hello, terribly sorry to hear that. From what I know, the only way to get your account back is by gaining access to the phone number you registered with.
There is a reset password button on the sign in page, you can give that a try.
