I still rock and original EverdriveMD official Krikzz version, but a few Krikzz Everdrives for various consoles back in the day no regrets. The problem with Chinese knockoffs, even ones based on newer hardware is often they are based on a specific revision that DO NOT allow you to flash them using official Krikzz update firmware revisions, indeed many of found the hard way that attempting to do so fails or even worse bricks there cheaper knockoff. Sure I was tempted in past for some cheap Chinese clones but I was hearing too many stories from even people initially happy with then only to later update and report the knockoff just "dying" out of the blue, for some who argue well I can get 2 or 3 for the price of one official Krikzz version anyway that is fine, I rather have the dependability and piece of mind not to mention support Krikzz who made flashcards possible for many platforms and he continues to always improve for the next ones. Hey these days I do not have the extra cash to dedicate to my hobbies and I regret never getting one for say the Sega Master system while I was still gainfully employed so even I may one day buy one of these knockoffs or multicarts just for my Sega Master system as it should be fine for the few times I actually hook it up and play it. But I have older original revisions of Krikzz Everdrives for Snes / Nes / TG-16/PCengine / Genesis / N64 as well as a Harmony cart for my 2600 and I am glad I bought those when I did.
