It's a pretty significant part of the design. I'm sure it's doable, but even so, what you'd be left with wouldn't be worth the effort. You'd simply be better off buying a different boot.
Hey josh I've been watching your channel for about 5 years now and I'm really confused as to what size i should get for my tiempo's since your feet grew. i am a size 8 so usually that will be what my mercurials would be and i would size my tiempo's a half size up. so is that not the case anymore as you increased the size of your mercurials by a half size to a 9.5 but not your tiempo's to a 10. so now everything is true to size so do i not need to size half a size up for my tiempo's anymore?
cezanne harry go true to size with the tiempo the leather will stretch and if you’ve owned tiempo 7s then it has the soleplate as the legend 8 so go true to size

At full retail, it's a great value, but if you're looking at that kind of boot, I'd buy a Nike Premier 2 that has been marked down a little.

They don't necessarily rub off, the leather just stretches and slowly goes back to being flat. It'll also flatten out under tension.
