When I was a kid, Saturday nights were 'must see TV' night. Love Boat followed by Fantasy Island. I made a vow that when I was a grownup, I'd fly to CA, board the Love Boat and cruise to Acapulco just like the show. And i couldn't wait to see the cliff divers after seeing footage on Love Boat. I grew up lol...and have cruised. I've also been to Acapulco. But I didn't cruise to Acapulco. No Love Boat for me but I still got there. Watching them on TV is awesome. Seeing them up close in person is a whole new ballgame! I'm a nervous, paranoid person to begin with. And I went into overdrive each time they dove, worried something bad would happen. lol. It didn't. And they put on one hell of an incredible, amazing show. If you're going to Acapulco, you must go see them! Don't miss it!
Bravo ! The famous Hollywood Stuntman HARRY FROBOESS (1899-1985) jumped his first World record in 1918 jumping from a bridge 75 Meters. On 22 July 1936 he jumped from the Graf Hindenburg Zeppelin 110 Meters into the Constanze Lake in Germany. On his 70th birthday he jumped from a helicopter 40 Meters into the Zürich Lake. A legend, this man.
Beautiful dives, love diving but I definitely don't have any cliffs that high that I've found here in the state of Vermont USA. We do have decent cliffs though and we dive into brooks and rivers here. Awesome diving boy's 👍👍😎
Imi amintesc ca am vazut filmul lui Elvis (Doamne, ce batran sunt!) si tot ce imi mai amintesc sunt aceste stanci si altarele de sus. Ferice de tine ca le-ai vazut pe viu. Frumos!
Grew up in Arkansas jumping into water off anything we could find - from highway, train and old swinging bridges over streams to cliffs at lakes and blue holes. We were somewhat fearless and quite foolish. Spent many a summer at Heber Springs dam site area jumping off cliffs as high as about 40-50 ft, doing front one and a halfs, backflips, gainers, etc., including out of trees at the top of the cliffs! Certainly nothing this high - very impressive. Probably would have if we ever found anything like it though. Hehe. Very nice diving amigos!!!
that is very far from 41 meters! Probably around 20-25... take a look at red bull highdiving, they jump from 27 and that looks way higher than this tbh
Excellent video ! Thanks for sharing with us ! Thumbs up*************************** ! I wish you dear friend COSTI , have a fruitful new week and fulfillment ! God bless you too ! Best greetings from RODICA !
Wow!!! De sarit in apa nu sar, dar mi-ar placea sa escaladez acele stanci. Este atat de usor cum pare la ei sau ei fac asta zilnic? Turistii au voie da escaladeze si sa sara acolo? Daca nu sare, are pe unde sa coboare? Pe o alta poteca sau ceva? Sau e obligatoriu sa sara?
The La Quebrada Cliff Divers are a group of professional high divers. Intrarea in zona se face contra cost,nu mai retin cat am platit.Sunt spectacole la anumite ore,ca la circ :) Mai sunt filmulete, dintre care unele sunt filmari cu drona si poti vedea in ansamblu despre ce este vorba...
Its not the height it's if you don't catch the wave at the perfect time you'll be in trouble just like September 9/11 it wasn't the scale of it it was the perfect timing to show how dangerous it is to mess around and be sure of oneself when one is dedicated anything is possible
I used to be an Alcapulcan cliff diver, to me it was.a cake walk, second nature. But I was practically bullied out of there because I was a gringo, they hated the thought that my cliff diving was sooo sick they were plain Ol' jealous. Yeah right, I'm just kidding. I just wanted to say some corny funny shizzle. You couldn't pay me enough to just jump off standing, Lmao!
După ce-mi făceam testamentul, mă aruncam și eu de-acolo! Felicitări!
The free rock climb is more dangerous then the jump. Great stuff
Saw them in the later 7o's in Acapulco ...amazing divers
Amazing, beautiful. Thank you for the video
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the nice comment ! 🙏
Priceless
This is real diving, beautiful to watch! Most cliff divers just do some stuff in the air and then land safely, feet first.
Bravo !

I was there in Late May, Early June of 1984. Amazing
🙏🙏🙏💯
Incredibili!👏👏👏👏👏
Fabulos and beautiful place. Lovely music. Great video. Many thanks. Like from me.
Awesomely beautiful🙏🙏😇
Thank you so much
Look interesting place, mountain and see, he s very good
Why do they always enter head first? Is that more dangerous than feet first ?
We were just there. Amazing!
🙏🙏🙏
Wow that cliff is so high! I would be really scared haha. Great video!
They used to have this on wild world of sports in the 70's. They would compete against the American's.
I remember that!
I'm one of those Americans , 1972
And what are mexicans? As american as someone born and raised in the USA
*_Impressive and interesting presentation from the fascinating Acapulco! Beautiful video *36*_*
*_Greetings :-) Richard_*
Amazing they can climb up the cliff face like that. You wouldn't catch me jumping off like that!
ngl I would climb up, but jumping down?
How deep does the water need to be from a jump that high
they apparently wait for waves to roll in bringing the water depth to a higher level
Very nice video.
Remember watching them as a kid on one of my trips down there. Still remember it to this day, was pretty cool but looked scary
Thank you for comment and visit
beautifully presented....great work 👍

I have witnessed it a few years back. It is very dangerous at the same time it's very impressive and heart ❤️ breaking too.
Why heart breaking?
Wonderful place! Great video as always! Thumbs up!

I hope these brave, fearless men remain safe and unhurt.
COOL !
Das sind aber keine 41 Meter.. höchstes 25
Vielleicht. Aber es ist sehr gefahrlich. Sie sind sehr nah an den Felsen.
@@juanpabloguevaramorales7559 das ist wohl wahr

Nice places👍liked👍
You all remember how good Elvis was at this.
WELL DONE!
crazy, but good for them.
Head first from that height is nuts.
Saw them, met them and had the best time .....Go see this if you can.
not 41meters
Wouldn't even climb it 😂😂😂😂😂

Danger going up AND coming down.
Nice ,but if you people want to see a 47 meter open chest cliff dive search for : rouche lebanon cliff dive ,, insane , bunch of videos
Never ever 41 m
Max. 30 m from highest base
Dam close if not 40 m
From 35 to 38 m depending on the high of the tide. I'm from Acapulco
Frumoase sarituri , dar si foarte periculoase .
