It's very amazing to see that James is actually doing better in PoT compared to his gameplay in the Isle. I'm not saying that he's a bad player in every way possible but you could really notice the difference of his gameplays between the two games. He plays a lot more aggressively in PoT (especially in his Allo series) whereas in the Isle he either just gets killed after a few hours growing or just fails a hunt. But I'm glad he enjoys the game either way. I've been in your channel for years and you never fail to entertain, keep up the great content James❤
@@xxMrbojanqlezxx yeah that's one big reason too. I think part of it is because PoT allows for different playing styles no matter the dino you want to play. Different attacks, different hides as well as subspecies. You can apply different strategies with different attacks whereas in the Isle you can’t do that to the same extent.
Honestly I agree with Beaver's comments on Path of Titan's monopoly chance that he starts mentioning around 8-9 minutes in. They already have a shot at conquering the board of dinosaur games, its just those few things Path of Titans can fix, add, or change that can set them even higher. Along with this, as I thought about last episode and definitely this episode with the theri and stego hunt, along with the excellent para hunt, its great seeing him learn more and more combat wise. As always, another great video Beaver!
Another tip for ya Beaver. The claw attack uses up a small amount of stamina. Which as an Allo main, you want to preserve as much stamina during a hunt as possible. If you fight anything bigger than an Allosaurus you should prioritize bites for 70% of the battle. I do however recommend using claw attack once in a while on those babies you were going after. And don't run (use stamina) unless you absolutely need to. Claw attacks are better suited against smaller faster dinos, since with their smaller combat weight they'll see significantly more bleed and have a longer bleed cool down timer than the bigger dinos will. Also, I've seen from other TH-cam videos that the head bite damage thing is just a myth. Head and body bites take the same amount of damage. However tail bites attacks deal significantly less damage. So try to stay away from doing head bites on dinos with a powerful bite, like the Apex's.... Hope I could help. Take care.

Just a heads up from someone who has been a daily Allosaurus player since they released it 2 years ago..... Other players tend to target Allosaurus players who use the Wildfire skin more often than usual for some reason. I have no idea why, but I get attacked by other players far more often when I equip that skin. Also, you should stick with balanced or defense for Allo. Speed build is okay at best. But the drop in defense isn't worth the almost unnoticeable amount of speed difference between speed and balanced. Especially if you're playing as a Solo Allosaurus. If you're playing with a group of others who can back you up then speed build is fine. I used to main playing as a double defense Allo and I could facetank sucho's 1v1. I started using balanced a lot more when they introduced the Rex, since it was a lot harder to avoid their bites with the slower defense builds. As of now though, the double defense Allo isn't quite as slow as I remember it being like a year ago. Anyways, you should give the balanced Allosaurus another chance. Trust me. Also, I'm glad to see you playing Path of Titans more often.
What I'd really like to see from this game is different servers having different maps based on different ecological formations from the Mesozoic, like a server that's based on the Morrison Formation, or a server based on the Dinosaur Park Formation. Players also can only play as dinosaurs from those formations, so a person cannot go to the Hell Creek Formation and play as a Styracosaurus, but they can play as a Pachycephalosaurus or a Tyrannosaurus.
@@oilram8222 That's why there's a modding community. They've already made animals like Quetzalcoatlus and Edmontosaurus. So with modding support, the roster of playable dinosaurs can expand to the point of having a decent selection of playable animals for every Formation Server.
The idea in and of itself is cool, but looking at it from the perspective of the devs it... might not work well. See, the problem here is depending on mods to "pick up the slack" and while game devs should account for mod compatibility and all that good stuff in their games, they shouldn't depend on mods to do their jobs and i don't think the mod creators would want to be depended on so hard (or maybe they would, i dunno, i ain't one of 'em), not to mention from the perspective of players who aren't crazy about everything being 100% accurate... that sounds like it would make playing your fave dino a bit more of a hassle as you'd need good servers for every single map to be available and all that stuff. Now, if the community wanted to do something like that, i'm pretty sure they can try to get someone to make a mod for limiting the character creator to handpicked dinos and wait and see if new maps would be added an whatnot, but for the devs to do that... it sounds counterproductive, imo at least.
28:20 I will never not shake my head at this rule that literally forces people to act like NPCS. Someone can target your baby and ignore you and end the entire fight with nothing you can do. No counterplay, no playability for the herbivore in the situation beyond just slowly holding the left direction on their analog stick until their baby dies.
With that Spino, I don't think the timer applies if the Spino has a body that it refuses to give up. Timer just applies to combat initiated with the intention of making a kill. If the timer applied to dinosaurs that had just made a kill, you would never be able to contest bodies.
I find your PoT videos so funny and entertaining that I will buy it now. Not much is happening in The Isle and PoT somehow convinced me. Keep it up I love your videos. 🥰
Btw the 60sec rule is basically. After you initiate a fight it no attack happens within 60sec you can not attack the same person or group for 15minutes. Also be careful the server rules were updated and certain herbs are now classed as “aggressive” and can attack first. Also 4 calling doesn’t end a hunt
HI everyone! so as funny as this is. I actually was the theri. and im so sorry i hadn't ever played as or fought an allo so i didn't know what the call off sound was! also that last attack u had on my baby almost killed him i was sweatin XD. It feels like such an honor to be in one your videos!!! it was a good fight though that's for sure! I would love to play with you one day so keep an eye out for me! my user is NomNomNommin !!!
James’ videos have got me back into playing Path if Titans. There’s a Yutyrannus mod and I love it! Amazing vids as always dood! Also I love the free camera and documentary voice! It’s so well done and adds a lot to the video Also I know you probably plan to, but please stream yourself watch Prehistoric Planet Season 2!
As soon I saw your name under the video I knew it would be a high quality, interesting, funny video and I was not disappointed. Keep up the great work!!
I think Herbs need more combat quests, Or more quests in general. Like a better buffs for being in the same species, hunting carni quests. I hope they add AI and then add that kind of combat towards Herbs, They feel so neglected quest wise.
Love that drawn thumnail of an Allosaurus gazing on a Parasaurolophus mama and her baba You could probably make a video about you drawing some scenes from the Jurassic franchise in your own art style!

You should try to play as the long neck thing( I forgot the name lol😂) but I also have been loving these path of titans vids lately, thanks so much beaver for all the hard work you put into entertaining us😁!
5:00 You definitely should have conserved stam and baited more attacks, since that's your best advantage when in a group. Conserving stam is as simple as walking instead of running when running isn't necessary, and has the fun side effect of baiting people into attacking you, which gives your packmates the advantage. Either way, it was a good fight, and a great video!
For rex the tail has a cool down of 3 seconds so you do have a little bit of time to try to bait the tail and come in for a quick bite but really as low as you were in that second fight I don't think that would've worked lol. As for megs try to use your claws since their hitbox is almost impossible to hit with any big dinosaur especially since you were going down hill.
i dont know if its normal that every time i hear his voice i visualize a dino instead of his actual face or even a beaver, but i really like this videos anyways
Those hunts on the theri and para were great, imo thats the best way to play the game, more realistic. EDIT: That metri kill was awesome too, very clever of you to use the environment to your advantage!
idk if beaver will see this but to anyone else curious, not all dinos take extra headshot damage (aka 20% dmg multiplier), the only dinos that don't take head damage though are: - Rex - Alberta - Sarco - Kentro - Amarga - Styraco - Eotrike there IS head damage in the game, some people say there isn't, but there is lol
I’ve played as my Allo in a pack and fought a lone Stego, we didn’t stand a chance; I was a balanced Allo too, so I had more defense than the speed boi and the Stego still almost killed me
I've been thnking that path of titans is more of an arcady type of game compared to the isle as seemingly you grow much faster in PoT, and there is much less penalty to dieing, I haven't played PoT but I have played the Isle, Your content is amazing keep it up!
Hey James I love the vids! One way you can fix the lag is choosing a server with a better tick rate than the one you play on now due to the fact that the lag is not the game but the server you play on
Beaver i know your loving path of titans, and i am too, but id love to see you try out Far Cry primal on expert difficulty, with survivor mode and permadeath on. The game gets much more real and id love to hear your commentary especially after your original series was one of my favorite ever on your channel
I have been a fan for 5 years and you never stop and keep getting better you deserve a lot more views as of all the effort you put in to make us all laugh keep going
Is that your narrator voice? That’s so amazing😂Please keep doing this! Great video, always love watching your Path of Titans videos! I only have the game on PS5…I hope to be better than Rexy from part 1…but that’s a low bar lol
11:20 😂😂😂 fr some pepole dont want to die with dignety i can relate! I was hunting an adult raptor/one of those difrent moded ones that is biger than the other vershons and when i bite him he fliping YEETED himself off a cliff almost un phased and when i atached a juvi phacy he got in the river and a sarco ended up claiming him insted 🤣🤣🤣 theyre are some pepole who just don't want to die bateling pepole 😂
most definitely want more videos like this, it’s funny, entertaining, and very more thrilling to watch, me personally i want to get the game just to do stuff like this
Other players: "You want me, I want you body. Ow yeah yeah yeah yeah!" Beaver: "I don't care, if I'm with my body yeah. You can take it from me there."
Hey beaver, you know how you said allo was very fun to play as I recommend playing as dasplatosaurus cause it has simular playstyle. As dasp though you have bone break and alot of defence, I would recommend speed or balanced cause defence build is to slow and has very poor turning radius but with speed build you can get the armor hide what doesn't have a debuf with it
beaver i rlly recommend u try dinos u want to grow on deathmach or pvp servers !! u will learn more and u could make some amazing fights (in realism servers with the skill u got on the dinos)
I think you should work on your timing on attacks and coordination that way you get hit less and try to not run in front of attacks Edit: also you should try to bait out attacks then time it like bait out a tail attack then attack and if your in like a pack yall should try to space out and attack from different directions.

I just woke up like five minutes ago you can't be doing this bro lol
What I'd really like to see from this game is different servers having different maps based on different ecological formations from the Mesozoic, like a server that's based on the Morrison Formation, or a server based on the Dinosaur Park Formation. Players also can only play as dinosaurs from those formations, so a person cannot go to the Hell Creek Formation and play as a Styracosaurus, but they can play as a Pachycephalosaurus or a Tyrannosaurus.
Cool Idea, but I don't think we have enough animals to cover a substantial amount of formations.
@@oilram8222 That's why there's a modding community. They've already made animals like Quetzalcoatlus and Edmontosaurus. So with modding support, the roster of playable dinosaurs can expand to the point of having a decent selection of playable animals for every Formation Server.
The problem with different servers is like he needs to find with good rules, people who don’t rule break, good mods, and a decent community
@@alexamazingg7794 I'm sure there'd be enough people who'd love this idea enough to do whatever to make it work.
I really love your drawn thumbnails. Your an amazing artist beaver!
beaver doesnt make them lol
@@MeesterWhite238 he was a good animator back then. Not sure if he was the one that drew the thumbnail.
9th time 😂
@Ahmad faizan who
The description says it's another artist who did the thumbnail.
That para hunt was really fun to watch, Allo seems like a really good time
Everything is fun to watch that beaver makes a Dino playthrough grow like this
@@Im_Iconic-Youre_Ironic not saying it isn’t. Just enjoyed this hunt a lot in particular.
@Shi Smith
Oh dw I agree 🤣🤣, I'm binge watching all his pot vids
@@Im_Iconic-Youre_Ironic I feel less and less like I’m betraying the isle these days and just more like I’m actually enjoying myself with POT 😂
@Shi Smith
Yeah same lmfao, beaver + pot = *best videos of all time*
This dude was my childhood. I give him my best wishes and to have a happy live and to keep doing what he loves.
I like that your in joying Path Of Titans but can you use dasp next
I find your PoT videos so funny and entertaining that I will buy it now. Not much is happening in The Isle and PoT somehow convinced me. Keep it up I love your videos. 🥰
Btw the 60sec rule is basically. After you initiate a fight it no attack happens within 60sec you can not attack the same person or group for 15minutes. Also be careful the server rules were updated and certain herbs are now classed as “aggressive” and can attack first. Also 4 calling doesn’t end a hunt
What server IS this, out of curiosity?
@@maxi_vt Islanders server
HI everyone! so as funny as this is. I actually was the theri. and im so sorry i hadn't ever played as or fought an allo so i didn't know what the call off sound was! also that last attack u had on my baby almost killed him i was sweatin XD. It feels like such an honor to be in one your videos!!! it was a good fight though that's for sure! I would love to play with you one day so keep an eye out for me! my user is NomNomNommin !!!
31:56 James has started his villian arc.
Also what is that banger track 🤘
The sound effects you used in this video were really on point, especially the heavy voicelines, Ed's voicelines, and of course the senile Mufasa yEs
I just enjoy Beaver content when its obvious he’s having fun
Look at Beaver go, winning fights, succeeding hunts, and surviving! He's done it. He's got gud.
I loved the fights you had with the herbs. Lol- and I'm just gonna say I LOVE the Dino's colors.
James’ videos have got me back into playing Path if Titans. There’s a Yutyrannus mod and I love it! Amazing vids as always dood! Also I love the free camera and documentary voice! It’s so well done and adds a lot to the video
Also I know you probably plan to, but please stream yourself watch Prehistoric Planet Season 2!
Protip: if the T Rex has the Stealth Jet Fighter skin, he knows what he is doing. Do not engage lol
As soon I saw your name under the video I knew it would be a high quality, interesting, funny video and I was not disappointed. Keep up the great work!!
Absolutely love the new documentary like commentary
that feeling when people start picking fights with you on this for no reason and your like 'why?'
I think Herbs need more combat quests, Or more quests in general. Like a better buffs for being in the same species, hunting carni quests. I hope they add AI and then add that kind of combat towards Herbs, They feel so neglected quest wise.
Marvelously done!! Love the far, voice over shots 🎉
Love that drawn thumnail of an Allosaurus gazing on a Parasaurolophus mama and her baba
You could probably make a video about you drawing some scenes from the Jurassic franchise in your own art style!
m currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. i respect that baby attacking the spino at 38:26 !
honestly if i saw an hour long video of you playing POT I'd scream of happiness
Back at it with another amazing video beaver!!! Nice work keep it up!! ❤❤❤🎉
I'm loving the random moments of the Nat Geo narration!! Love all the work you do!!!
I haven’t even watched it, but I know it’s going to be good love you beavs don’t burn yourself out and make to many videos we want you to enjoy it ❤
I really hope beaver sees this bc it is true
Keep those Path of Titans videos pumping
the part with David at Embra i dig that like that was amazing please more of that
You should try to play as the long neck thing( I forgot the name lol😂) but I also have been loving these path of titans vids lately, thanks so much beaver for all the hard work you put into entertaining us😁!
I love this series and overall what beaver is doing it’s like watching a movie keep it coming 🍿
Yeh it was a good fight! Not to brag tho i was the other allo, the one looking like a cheetah and fought the rex
been loving the path of titans content as of recent, keep up the good work man
Loved both part if this. Would be awesome if you did one as a flier.
For rex the tail has a cool down of 3 seconds so you do have a little bit of time to try to bait the tail and come in for a quick bite but really as low as you were in that second fight I don't think that would've worked lol. As for megs try to use your claws since their hitbox is almost impossible to hit with any big dinosaur especially since you were going down hill.
these occasional david attenborough impression things are so cool, i hope they are in future videos
i dont know if its normal that every time i hear his voice i visualize a dino instead of his actual face or even a beaver, but i really like this videos anyways
Those hunts on the theri and para were great, imo thats the best way to play the game, more realistic.
EDIT: That metri kill was awesome too, very clever of you to use the environment to your advantage!
I want them to make like a snow bio somewhere cause that would be cool
i've never realized how much i needed to see a sleeping allo before now
I miss the isle vids but I do love the Path of titans ones more
idk if beaver will see this but to anyone else curious, not all dinos take extra headshot damage (aka 20% dmg multiplier), the only dinos that don't take head damage though are:
- Rex
- Alberta
- Sarco
- Kentro
- Amarga
- Styraco
- Eotrike
there IS head damage in the game, some people say there isn't, but there is lol
I’ve played as my Allo in a pack and fought a lone Stego, we didn’t stand a chance; I was a balanced Allo too, so I had more defense than the speed boi and the Stego still almost killed me
3:45 "That's right, bully him! Tell him he got tiny arms" 😂
I've been thnking that path of titans is more of an arcady type of game compared to the isle as seemingly you grow much faster in PoT, and there is much less penalty to dieing, I haven't played PoT but I have played the Isle, Your content is amazing keep it up!
I love that beaver only half follows the rules, as he rulebreaks many, many times.
I Love this new formatting with the little cutscenes its brilliant! please continue to do so.
2 videos in practically 1 day. Good job beaves
Hey James I love the vids! One way you can fix the lag is choosing a server with a better tick rate than the one you play on now due to the fact that the lag is not the game but the server you play on
This is the video that got me into Path of Titans, I will forever cherish this video for that one single thing.
best series since little nightmares! 🔥
Oh I remember them, I use to get excited when he uploaded the next one. It’s already being like 2 or 3 years 😢
I love the "documentary" moments in these vids
Love how you used the wwd big so theme when you were fighting the para
wow, Beaver is really good at pvp now. I was impressed
You don’t do extra damage when you hit them in the head but you do less damage when you hit them in the tale. Just a tip beaver 😊
Beaver i know your loving path of titans, and i am too, but id love to see you try out Far Cry primal on expert difficulty, with survivor mode and permadeath on. The game gets much more real and id love to hear your commentary especially after your original series was one of my favorite ever on your channel
Poor spino just couldn't catch a break xD
I have been a fan for 5 years and you never stop and keep getting better you deserve a lot more views as of all the effort you put in to make us all laugh keep going
The David Attenborough was SUPERB 😂😂😂😂
Ok the Sir David Attenborough impression was actually really good! I was impressed.
I enjoyed this video so much. I always get hyped up whenever beaver posts one of these videos.
I like how James has his own private AI narrator
Loving the PoT content, keep it up Beavs.
most definitely want more videos like this, it’s funny, entertaining, and very more thrilling to watch, me personally i want to get the game just to do stuff like this
Perfect hunt , perfect video.
Theres the picture
This is gonna be perfect…. When it happens
Other players: "You want me, I want you body. Ow yeah yeah yeah yeah!"
Beaver: "I don't care, if I'm with my body yeah. You can take it from me there."
Hey beaver, you know how you said allo was very fun to play as I recommend playing as dasplatosaurus cause it has simular playstyle. As dasp though you have bone break and alot of defence, I would recommend speed or balanced cause defence build is to slow and has very poor turning radius but with speed build you can get the armor hide what doesn't have a debuf with it
But with dasp it just doesn't have the stam and it's good for face tanking small to medium sized dinosaurs (he's even better if you bone break -bb)
In a couple months i can afford a computer and finally play PoT. Im glad i have this channel to tide me over until then
beaver i rlly recommend u try dinos u want to grow on deathmach or pvp servers !! u will learn more and u could make some amazing fights (in realism servers with the skill u got on the dinos)
I think the attack registry of Allosaurus is a little fucked up, you can't seem to hit anything unless you are practically hugging it.
Luv ur vids (especially on POT) so amazing keep up the good work
it'd be cool to see Beaver play on the WWD servers! i've had the most fun on those lately 🦖
What does wwd stand for I wanna play on of
It
@@Splash_2_y Its a strict realism server
@@draco2378 thank you
IKR what is it with people always jumping into the water XD and from 10:31 to 10:35 was so so funny its so true XD XD XD
I think you should work on your timing on attacks and coordination that way you get hit less and try to not run in front of attacks
Edit: also you should try to bait out attacks then time it like bait out a tail attack then attack and if your in like a pack yall should try to space out and attack from different directions.
Amazing video beaver! Also, could you try growing a Spino or Megalania?
18:35 this is not the end! R u sure about that?Yeah😎
his gameplay in this episode was amazing
