This is a great example on YT how to really use 3D printing in practise instead printing useless models from thingverse like most of TH-camrs doing. Great job USSA! I like it!
I just finished building the handrail on my deck th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z and used this great little router to clean up the top rail before the final sanding and stain. It was light weight but packed lots of power. Either size battery didn't seem to make it top heavy and I'm a 64 yr old women so I really appreciated how easy it was to use...................... CORDLESS only way to go !!
I hope you either A patented this because you're going to make boatloads of money or B left this free source because you're going to make a boatload of people happy, whichever suits your fancy there
He can do both- patents do not apply to anyone building for their own use. Neither does copyright.
It's a limited market. Lots of the concepts already exist in the market.
Getting patents mean you should get permission from other patent holders whose ideas you have used and obviously paying for it.
He won't be able to defend his patents . Neither is it easy to make it a production piece then sell it around the world. Ultimately even if patentable it may not be profitable to produce and distribute and sell.
@@70newlifeif you read rhe desc they are planning to launch it with a kickstarter. I suppose they have done the necessary discovery for any existing patents, will likely just patent the parts that they are bringing to the table
@@Tensquaremetreworkshopi always see this problem when making stuff for makers. If it's too expensive you will see someone make it themself, and it's always allowed to make something for yourself, by yourself. Only distribution is not allowed
@@WetOlde Yes. But you can distribute how to make it. Including 3D print files- as long as you generated the design yourself. Had a company try to get me to remove a video on how to make something similar to one of their products- when I told them it was permitted, they caved in and agreed it was true.
I think its amazing that you design all your jigs in a grasshopper script.
X2
It blows me away every time
This is incredibly inspiring. Fantastic work! These are intuitive and elegant solutions you've created.
Just started setting mine up, and this is SO much value for money. The build quality, the case, the number of parts made, the instructions. Totally blown away.
Just received mine today and OOOOO GOD Its A MARVEL, all the wait was deserved awesome product
Again and again.... you are setting 3D printing at an unbelievable level. Over congratulations. You blow my mind. Always amazed by your creations.
Extreme potential and thoughtfulness with no design comprimise. This is amazing, absoloutely stunning. It's worthy mass production with improved wear out materials and precision. Wow, I'm really stunned and I've seen a lot of great designs on youtube so far. This is next level
your designs make me want to elevate my modeling and printing work. truly an inspiring and challenging thing to discover
YES. Not many folks realizing what can be done with a 3d printer. This is why I originally got into 3d printing.......to bring my ideas to life! Good to see someone else doing it as well!
This is some real engineering done to improve every woodworkers life. That router lift just blew me away. I would instanly buy if i had a 3d printer
Love the handle storage- will definitely copy that...
You have very sharp mind. Don't stop making things ❤
That dust collection is beautiful. Very happy I found this channel.
really nice to see metal parts upgrade. hope to get on board before kickstarter!
Talent! There are no words, only delight!
(Талант! Нет слов, только восторг!)
Beyond amazing! Full respect, keep on doing what you're doing!
Any one can be a master craftsmen with the tools you make brilliant👍🏻
Amazing! I would definitely buy the metal router jig. That's just awesome.
Just received mine. Blown away by the quality and the packaging is a really nice touch. Thank you!!!
Hey! I also purchased the jig a few weeks ago on “pre-order”, and haven’t gotten any specific updates via email. from the website it said it would be shipping late November, I checked the site again yesterday and it now says it will be shipping late December. When did you order and did you get any updates?
Beautiful trim router jig. We shared this one on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Amazing work. That is a great design. Good job!
this is so amazing - thank you so much for inventing & sharing
Excellent designs, keep up the good work 👍🏼
Mine just got delivered can’t wait to use it
Same. I can't wait to go to my shop in a couple days and try it out. Incredible packaging, manual, feature set, etc.
Nice! That's looks very well designed, and your print quality on the parts look great!
Saved to my "gotta do this!" video list. Great ideas!
I purchased the aluminum jig and it arrived yesterday. I thought it was expensive but very well designed. I was surprised at the weight and complexity of the whole kit. This is a high end accessory and well worth the money. Very happy with this purchase.
Really, you got it already? I also purchased the jig a few weeks ago on “pre-order”, and haven’t gotten any specific updates via email. from the website it said it would be shipping late November, I checked the site again yesterday and it now says it will be shipping late December. When did you order and how did you get it early?
@ussadesign any updates you can share?
I think it took about a month but it was well worth the wait. I ordered it in September. Iwas surprised that it came with an instruction booklet which I recommend you follow as I was clueless trying to line up my trim router to attach it. I finally tried following the directions and it made it easy. Something I would suggest is to check behind the place where the instructions are stored. There is a velcroed compartment storing an additional plate and template to make a separate small router table. Best of luck with your purchase. I think it may take a while because it is produced in smaller batches as orders are received?
Amazing - thank you for your help! Looking forward to seeing it person and using it!!
Does it come with all of the attachments in the video?
Fantastic work. Very well done.
Amazing designs,fantastic problem solving.👍
Thanks! Extremely well designed, and as someone who bought a useless cordless trim router and had to 3D print adaptor plates to get it to be even remotely useful, I am blown away how good your designs are, and those 3D print prototypes came out really well. Lots of nice detailing in your designs, and the video production is excellent too. I just dropped on this by chance, so subscribed and liked as well, and I hope this does well for you.
Looks very flexible and interesting. I appreciate the handle that doubles as parts storage. That stuff always gets lost.
I just received my aluminum version of the trim router jig yesterday. I've got to say it is extremely well made and comes in a very nice case. I can't wait to see how well it performs and think it will be a very useful addition to my DeWalt P611.
This is why 3D printing can't be beaten for rapid prototyping! 😎
The designs are fantastic; I wonder how many iterations they evolved through before the final iteration. Speaking of, I love the drill press, but could the angled plates not be combined into just one adjustable version?
There are at least two, no, _three_, wait, _*__five,_* pffft, *_MOST_* of your designs I'd love to get my hands on!
I'm sorry that I can only give this video one thumbs-up; it deserves way more! 👍👍👍👍
What a gorgeous tool!
looks great can't wait for this
Extremely versatile and practical machine!!
Great solution / design! Thanks 😎
Absolutely beautiful
This is really cool. I need to think about buying one. Good job.

Thank you!! Your journey has been a biggest inspiration to me
You are one hell of a tool designer!
this is great. I love the small routers but the small base is always an issue.
Very impressive!
Nice job on these tools! The trim router jig looks awesome. Really tempted to buy one.

I dont even own a router but want to buy your kit. I love watching your videos and am very impressed with your determination. Well done 👍
Just, brilliant.
Outstanding!
Fantastic!
Very nicely done 🙂
Gees man. This is all incredible.
Very slick!
would love to see you make a hexagonal wood/epoxy table using these tools.
Extremely impressive.
Great invention.
Wow! This is incredible and makes me want to use my 3d printer more.
Some really cool ideas here. I lolled at 5:23 when I realized you made a giant pencil sharpener basically
Love this channel 😊
It looks like a magic .
pretty slick!
Que brutal tu trabajo, gracias por compartir
Zauberei! I love your cool ideas
Amazing Ideas for especially needing to do a thousand of something very precisely.
Awesome!
All and all very neat. Would've designed and added dust collector ducts on some tools, especially the router.
I just received MULTIFUNCTIONAL TRIM ROUTER JIG yesterday. All I can say is WOW! Can't wait to test it out. Very excited to see what other precision products you can come up with. Outstanding build quality and very well thought out. Has me wondering how many iterations you went through to get the design that you are shipping now.
Brilliant design. Perfect showcase of its abilities, enjoy the millions (smiles or dollars?
Brilliant.
Very nice design!
BRILLIANT! BRILLIANT! BRILLIANT!
This video has my jaw dropped
Yeah, my appreciation for machinist grows the more I 3D print. There's a LOT of Trial and error to just get one working part made. Different problems for different materials.
That tune in the intro uses the exact same bass as Michael Jackson's Beat It. I never really thought about it before but now I need to go find that sound.
was getting ready to get RICK ROLLED when I heard those drums drop in the beginning lol
Wowza!
10 out of 10. You make Engineering cool.
awesome!!!
I don't even do woodwork and I can see the wisdom in this
You, sir, you are a legend.
Brilliant!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Would be awesome to see a grasshopper tutorial!
Thisbis beyond words. Kreig and Fein should take notes
Congratulations, this is such a great leap.
