    I want to see some onboard footage out on a race track! I really like what you did with this build! The custom exhaust pipes are pure sex... I also love the huge radiator, and the old school rear shocks. I wish I could ride this bike sooo bad! My first bike was an RZ350, and I'm also building an old Kawasaki triple. 2strokes4lyfe!

    ça donne vraiment envie de la tester... veinard. Mais bon, c'est le privilège du concepteur. bravo. J'aurai pensé qu'elle monterait plus dans les tours que ça... j'ai eu plusieurs 250 RS, 250 RGV et un 500 gamma en son temps... super souvenirs mais lointains. 3 pattes et 700 cc ça doit faire son petit effet.

    • @JETZcorp

      cannibis sativa Aside from the gearing, which he plans to resolve, what's wrong with it as a road bike?

    • @bipedal-ape-man
      @bipedal-ape-man 9 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      two strokes are not famous for reliability as well as fuel consumption and the power band makes them hard to keep at a constant speed which is annoying in traffic ( :

    • @JETZcorp
      @JETZcorp 9 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      cannibis sativa Well, that all depends on the individual engine. With regards to reliability, the only problems I've ever had with any of my two-strokes have been electrical or carburetion. My 1967 Kawasaki 120 is still on the stock piston and rings, but the end-gap is tight. My 400 triple was jetted horribly lean on the mains for a good long time, but never seized or scored a piston. And even if a two-stroke completely scatters, they're so easy to repair it's like cheating.
      Fuel consumption is indeed worse than four-strokes, but it's still not too bad. My 400 gets about 35mpg, even though the previous owner geared it to do 6,000rpm at 60mph. And I find that riding it hard has virtually zero affect on my range, which is cool.
      Personally, I find two-strokes easier to live with in traffic. The rapid firing and lack of engine braking makes it really easy to stay smooth, where four-strokes always feel (to me) like they're struggling against themselves. I guess my Husqvarna 250 with 32-1 bean oil premix would suck in a traffic jam, for the same reason an alcohol funny car would. Lol. Accidentally coming on the pipe in traffic would be pretty funny, but anyone who gets that wrong will die real fast on an R6.

    • @bipedal-ape-man
      @bipedal-ape-man 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      lol i suppose you right man it all depends on the individual and the type of 2 stroke bike ive owned the honda 400NSR and the suzuki 250rg as well as a yamaha 175dt loved all of them sold the 400 and the 250 about 3 years ago.there will always be a place in my hart for two strokes i love there simplicity and like you mentioned how easy it is to work on their engines however since a bought the gsxr750 i find it more enjoyable and reliable to use as an every day bike.

      @jeffreyhagelin6047 5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I've driven two stroke snowmobiles for since 1969 and will tell you that is an old wives tale. Deceleration is no different than acceleration, as long as the engine is jetted correctly and the oil mixture is right, no harm is being subjected to the engine.
      As far as using the brake goes, you can us it as hard as you want, it makes no difference.

    • @SheIITear
      @SheIITear 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jeffreyhagelin6047 Engine braking will break your engine as there is not much oil when the engine runsnon high rpms. It may not break it instantly, but eventually it will.

    Is this a 4stroke tachometr? If yes then it means that you have to 2x the revs showed on it.

    • @100GTAGUY
      @100GTAGUY 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all man, it depends on the ratio of the idler gear on the crank to that of the tach itself. A 4t running at 6k rpm reads no different than a 2t at 6k rpm. I think you're confusing the number of power strokes per minute with actual rpm.
