I have this gun, it has cosmetics and intermittent FTE issues, was sent back to Atlas for warranty repair since May. From what I understand, it will not get back to me until late August. I think it’s really a hit or miss for these super highend 2011 depending on how lucky you are and who built your gun. 2011’s tolerance is so tight if one thing is not tuned well or slightly out of spec, the gun will not run well. I m not the only one experiencing this and I heard similar stories from other highend brands. Good news is that Atlas CS has been great to deal woth. I hope when I get my erebus back, everything checks out with it.
I don’t think the question is if it’s worth it but rather the purpose? It’s a race gun and not an EDC. I’ve wasted a lot of money on 2011s that I only take to the range or leave in my safe.
Def not an EDC. This would be hard to carry. If you are looking for something that plays both rolls well, check out our recent video we just dropped where we talk about the Atlas Apollo V2
I shoot this gun as my primary range gun. My trigger is one and 1/ half pounds. Butter. On steel and paper when being timed it is super fast and super flat. I added a competition Magwell and brass grip panels to bring the weight up by 9 oz to 48 oz. Not for everybody but worth every penny.
Been between a staccato xc and this. Yes, I know they are LEAGUES apart, but I've shot an xc and can't imagine better (not talking fit and finish)
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it

Thats a shame it wasnt working out of the box for you, i hope that they are able to get it running as it should and that they get you squared away.
I've been considering the Erebus, and this gives me mixed feelings... I'd expect long lead times to receive the gun, but not so much on the RMA end
would this be good for home defense?
What is that holster?
Nice gun!
Yes it is! very flat shooting!

@@modernwarriorsut Yes sir. I’ll definitely check it out. I’ve been hearing good things about the Apollo.
