As someone who started with Project Diva, Project Sekai's 3DMVs have grown so much since the game released, most now actually being on par with Project diva's MVs. Yeah, somehow I agree with you that 5 people are quite hard to arrange. Especially, screentime to focus is crucial in this situation. IMO some of their MV are looking good even with 5 people. The latest MV for group called More More Jump, "Supernova", is example how good they manage with 5 people on it. I think it's not an actual issue if they put more effort to deepen some aspect in a video. it's playing a big part to compensate lacking of platform accesibility to banter with Project Diva's quality, just like how Project Sekai lighting color and camerawork improving lately.

We need to have in count the disadvantages that every game has when it comes to the 3DMVs: First of all, ProSEKA is an Android and iOS game, which means the graphics will have a slightly worst quality compared to the PS5 or Nintendo Switch Project DIVA games. Then it's the dynamic: ProSEKA has obviously more characters and that makes the MV more enjoyable while watching all of them develop their dances or performance in general. In the main Diva Series is hard to see a MV with more than two characters. That's why I think both are equally fun and illustrative, and can be enjoyable as well. There's no need to say "these are better than those".
As for my opinion on the brain revolution girl part, i prefer both honestly. For pjsk is because the lightning and the camera movement and angle. And its the same for pjdv honestly
I honestly like them both pretty evenly except for the l/n ones, its kinda sad how restricting having to stand in place is.. But other than that, I think pjsk does really well for a mobile game Off topic: Is it weird that I can play pjsk with the mv on just fine, but some projects diva song become unplayable with lag? Is it just my computer? I mean, it IS a console game and my computer is old.. I have mega mix, but everyone says ft and ft2 were the best ones, but I don't think I can get that on computer 🫠
project diva is better in terms of graphics quality and shading, especially compared to pjsk's earlier 3dmvs since it was released fully complete. IDK man I just generally like pjsk better for nitpicky reasons. I think its best explained with the maretu 3dmvs. the project diva one has better particle effects, and the big lightup piece it the background is really well done, it defiantly grives a great sense of scale, not to mention the dance has more interesting choreography overall than the pjsk one has. However the outfit they gave miku is just so aggressively dated its honestly distracting, the stupid red heart face tattoo, and the long gloves pared with the really low cut square skirt just feel bad to look at (project diva has a habit of using some of the worst costuming choices ever made for miku and most of the time they feel either unrelated or baffling like the childish war cat costumes) and i know they can do better because tokyo teddy bear and the intese voice of hatsune miku both have such strong choices it makes it feel worse. As for pjsk I really like their creative use of 2d graphics in conjunction with 3d effects, this when combined with their skilled use of camera placement to accentuate movement really helps the sometimes lackluster choreography, they have mastered the art of getting really hype moments in their 3dmvs this along with their generally non-offensive costuming really makes the 3dmv stand out to me compared to the pjDiva one (side note when the orange guy has his attitude filled close-up i get shivers with how good it is). As for its poor points, its choreography can be inconsistent with its quality eg: split haires attitude close up is much less impactful due to lack of control in the characters movements, and if you pay attention to big group shots it is fairly obvious where they just decided to slide all the characters around. Overall I just like the mareteru one better butcause of the really cool transition to the white background with the album cover, it creates a much stronger impression than the quiet compitance of some of the project diva cover making it feel a lot more cool and in the scene than the baffling costuming and very 2010s coded ganamstyle disco dance floor in front of a vegas strip sign. Both maretu covers feel very edgy-teen like, but we can all tell wich one of these was made for 12 year-olds and wich of these was made for 16 year-olds, they both succeded at reaching their target markets but only one of these you will be willing to show to a normie in order to show off the song.
not to say that Project diva is bad, I thing many of the 3dmvs are good and still hold up to analysis, but they can tend to feel extremely dated, and it doesn't help that pjsk releases like 2 copies of each 3dmv with allows them to adapt the costumes to player feedback. Im not sure if I will feel the same way about pjsk in a couple of years but since i don't have much nostalia for pjDIVA and the dating can feel so aggressive it definitely factors into my enjoyment of the video
@@グレン-u7d this is thier official video. someone was paid to decide what costume to use to promote project diva, and they chose that one. It probably looks better in another outfit, if some marketing guy said "maybe the heart face tattoo miku is a little too out there" we wouldn't be here. but someone actively made the choice to upload it as the best showcase that song and i will judge it accordingly
@@moonlightnightisalright2088 at least that costume is specifically made in the image of that song. a lot of the time project diva songs used costumes from the official PV/illustration of that song, while sekai only use random ass costumes that have nothing to do with the songs and have no official song outfits made by the original PV creator/illustrator unlike the project diva games
pjsk has wayyyyy better lighting and graphics, the technology has changed so much since project diva, but lets be honest the old ones were so much more creative. the new ones arent BAD theyre just focused on one stage and a coreography whereas pretty much all project diva mvs change stages or have some sort of storyline(?). obviously since theyre made for different devices theyre gonna be structured different, also they have to include all the characters singing which for pjsk is in most cases the entire unit+ a vocaloid. i love both the old and new 3dmvs though, theyre all done so well and you can tell they put effort into them. :)
To me, both are good in their own way. Project Diva is more MV style. The song fits with an MV. Pjsekai, however, is more like the replay of a concert. Think of it a bit like k-pop.
For me: DIVA is better: Tokyo Teddy Bear, Hello Worker, 1 2 Fanclub (if using the MIRAI version) SEKAI is better: Snow White Princess, Brain Revolution Girl, Childish War, 1 2 Fanclub (if using the DIVA X version)
Project Diva 3DMV is more interesting for me. Project sekai one is boring when compared with project diva. But I can understand that project sekai is mobile game and project sekai 3DMV is good for mobile game plus project sekai use the choreography for after live in game
Which Project Diva game though? Quality varies, and this isn’t a very fair comparison considering the scale of the games. One is a mobile game, another is a console one.
well tbf, project diva always had not-stage performance mvs since the first game and only got better from there so i cant say using a mv from the first project diva changes much
@@RandomHans When I say quality, I’m talking about in terms of graphics. The older project diva MVs tend to be more pixelated with backgrounds that have a little less detail.
@@Winterturning ok but does graphics really matter for the pvs a miku made of pixels could be dancing but if it's "shot" and rendered in a certain i would probably still eat it up hell, rolling girl and two sided lovers was on the psp and they barely have any changes in the modern day
@@Winterturning whats being compared here is less so the graphics and more so the visual presentation which does includes graphics but is only like 25% percent of the entire thing
I don't really like Project Sekai's MV's, maybe because I've always liked Project Diva since I was a little child, but I feel as if Project Sekai's MV's don't have any personality or creativity, it's always the same thing for me, it's like only the background that changes lol Even if it is because while the concept of PD is to tell a story or something while the concept of PJSekai is to be a live concert, it could be much better, yk? Like, have more interaction with the scenery, or something like that. But anyway, who am I to judge? ┐(´ー`)┌
Honestly I tend to prefer the 2D mvs in project sekai. I think the 3d ones are just ok most of the time and the 2D mvs end up being more visually interesting to watch
Unfortunately pjsekai has a story to follow and like, a bunch of models dancing rather than always one so it's very limited to mvs compared to diva not to mention it's a mobile game...
I really wished they kept the same artstyle on the pjsk models like in project diva, i hope if they make another project diva game that they include the pjsk characters cuz i love them sm but i can't with gacha games😭
No, Sekai characters don't belong in Diva. I think that would annoy a large part of the vocaloid fanbase who want the vocaloids, not random OCs that have human singers.
@@myon9431i hate to say this but I also agree with you. Prsk and Pjdiva are not connected to each other at all. They may be published/made by SEGA but thats all. Prsk is just a game collaborating with Hatsune Miku and again like I said the OG characters are not connected to Hatsune Miku and the others at all. In the main Diva Series is hard to see a MV with more than two characters. That's why I think both are equally fun and illustrative, and can be enjoyable as well. There's no need to say "these are better than those".
Diva MVs are always better. The only exception may be Kimagure Mercy, but that isn't in Diva so we'll never know (Diva is dead)
If i ever had a choice, my answer is right there.
As for my opinion on the brain revolution girl part, i prefer both honestly.
For pjsk is because the lightning and the camera movement and angle.
And its the same for pjdv honestly
PJD is meant to be a music video, while pjsk is meant to be a video of a performance
I honestly like them both pretty evenly except for the l/n ones, its kinda sad how restricting having to stand in place is..
But other than that, I think pjsk does really well for a mobile game
Off topic:
Is it weird that I can play pjsk with the mv on just fine, but some projects diva song become unplayable with lag?
Im not sure if I will feel the same way about pjsk in a couple of years but since i don't have much nostalia for pjDIVA and the dating can feel so aggressive it definitely factors into my enjoyment of the video
you can also change the costumes in project diva tho
Truth be told I like both mvs for Brain Revolution Girl and Childish War
pjsk has wayyyyy better lighting and graphics, the technology has changed so much since project diva, but lets be honest the old ones were so much more creative. the new ones arent BAD theyre just focused on one stage and a coreography whereas pretty much all project diva mvs change stages or have some sort of storyline(?). obviously since theyre made for different devices theyre gonna be structured different, also they have to include all the characters singing which for pjsk is in most cases the entire unit+ a vocaloid.
i love both the old and new 3dmvs though, theyre all done so well and you can tell they put effort into them. :)
tokyo teddy bear - project diva for sure
the snow white princess is - project diva
brain revolution girl- project diva
childish war- project diva
hello worker- project diva
1 2 fanclub -project diva
lol
To me, both are good in their own way. Project Diva is more MV style. The song fits with an MV. Pjsekai, however, is more like the replay of a concert. Think of it a bit like k-pop.
For me:
DIVA is better: Tokyo Teddy Bear, Hello Worker, 1 2 Fanclub (if using the MIRAI version)
SEKAI is better: Snow White Princess, Brain Revolution Girl, Childish War, 1 2 Fanclub (if using the DIVA X version)
Project Diva will always be superior
Project Diva 3DMV is more interesting for me. Project sekai one is boring when compared with project diva. But I can understand that project sekai is mobile game and project sekai 3DMV is good for mobile game plus project sekai use the choreography for after live in game
Project diva on top
Which Project Diva game though? Quality varies, and this isn’t a very fair comparison considering the scale of the games. One is a mobile game, another is a console one.
well tbf, project diva always had not-stage performance mvs since the first game and only got better from there so i cant say using a mv from the first project diva changes much
@@RandomHans When I say quality, I’m talking about in terms of graphics. The older project diva MVs tend to be more pixelated with backgrounds that have a little less detail.
@@Winterturning ok but does graphics really matter for the pvs
a miku made of pixels could be dancing but if it's "shot" and rendered in a certain i would probably still eat it up
hell, rolling girl and two sided lovers was on the psp and they barely have any changes in the modern day
@@RandomHans yeah it kinda does if you’re making a comparison for the two.
@@Winterturning whats being compared here is less so the graphics and more so the visual presentation which does includes graphics but is only like 25% percent of the entire thing
okay *please* tell me you can buy childish war in future tone
Ive got bad news
@@emerygrey1582 :(
You cant unfortunately but if you are able to mod megamix+, you can
wait what dlc pack is brain revolution girl in (pjdiva)??
@@mochal0verr project diva X if i remember correctly
I don't really like Project Sekai's MV's, maybe because I've always liked Project Diva since I was a little child, but I feel as if Project Sekai's MV's don't have any personality or creativity, it's always the same thing for me, it's like only the background that changes lol
Even if it is because while the concept of PD is to tell a story or something while the concept of PJSekai is to be a live concert, it could be much better, yk? Like, have more interaction with the scenery, or something like that. But anyway, who am I to judge? ┐(´ー`)┌
Honestly I tend to prefer the 2D mvs in project sekai. I think the 3d ones are just ok most of the time and the 2D mvs end up being more visually interesting to watch
The PJD ones are going to alwa be better bc they're running on Playstation, PC, and Arcade Machines..not mobile devices.
Comparing a console rythm game to a mobile rythm game-
I hope you know the word between differences and comparison, have a good day! 💞
Project Diva PVs > PJSK 3DMvs
Why dose JP sekai get the good songs😭 I LOVE BRAIN REVOLUTION GIRL SM BUT ITS NOT IN EN SEVERS😭😭
I checked and EN servers are getting the song soon :D
It comes out later this month in EN soo :D
Project diva will forver solo pjsk
Unfortunately pjsekai has a story to follow and like, a bunch of models dancing rather than always one so it's very limited to mvs compared to diva not to mention it's a mobile game...
Pjsk just lacks a lot of expression and details, but overall I like them both
I really wished they kept the same artstyle on the pjsk models like in project diva, i hope if they make another project diva game that they include the pjsk characters cuz i love them sm but i can't with gacha games😭
The 20 OG Characters are not exactly connected to vocaloid or to Hatsune Miku at all. Prsk is just a game collaborating with Hatsune Miku and again like I said the OG characters are not connected to Hatsune Miku and the others at all. Prsk is like collaborating with Hatsune Miku just like the way Bandori and other rhythm games did but instead of event collaboration, its a A WHOLE GAME collaboration instead
The mvs look very the same
@@Mia-wh9wwYT DIVA and SEKAI was all made by SEGA, but SEKAI was collaborate with Colorful Palette
Honestly, Project Diva X MV are very disappointing.
