I'd love to own one of these mixers. I've started very late, when Vestax was already out of the business, and despite the fact I've played on modern mixers most of my life, there is something magical about vintage ones.
CJ, great video. I have the PMC-007 which uses knobs for the EQ instead of the sliders. Getting lots of crackling noises when I turn them, do you know what the best way to clean them is?
Your 07 input fader is sfv03 or sfv03s. It should be because my input fader is broken, but I can't find the sfv03s. I don't know if it's OK to replace sfv03

Is there a way to change the eq fader for the microphone or the Eq? I’m having trouble figuring that out as well as trying to find the right replacement for it.
I took my crossfader out of my vestax 05 and cleaned it and lubed it up but when I tilt to one side it won't slide on its own, so you think it's time to replace it ,it looks like your with the bars I think its the original one,no bleeding ,just I want it to slide better, please let me know what you think, thanks
yeah at one time i had two golds and one black 25th anniversary model… i was a vestax junkie lol … three 07's , two 05 pro's , three 06 pro's , two QFO,s , 4 pax 2,000's
do you remember if the 05 channel faders fit the 07 channel faders? i see there are 5 pin on 05 and 07 has 4 pins. but i thought back in the day they were the same pins
@@CJScratch very dope! I need to link up with you my bro, I have a turntable that goes crazy in the forward position, it will run forwards then reverse then repeat. Once I play it I’m reverse tho it runs smoothly in reverse

the 05 line faders are completely different as far as connections from the 07 pro

lol yeah water and dish soap and tooth brush cleans it the best you can also use rubbing alcohol but it has water content in it as well...
I believe my 08 pro has same fader 🎚 heavyweight I prefer too big upz
