Hi Emma, I love our talk about your knits, you do incredible work, so beautiful! Fun hearing snippets about VT, as I grew up in Shelburne. Have a great week or two!
I love how you detail how this channel helps you untangle your creative brain by talking it out! Much like you, I think my brain is a tangled mess and knitting helps me to untangle it. Also running in 100 degree weather is yuck! I've been trying to get out before 7am to get my runs in and that's been really helpful. I hope you stay cool and have fun in Canada!
Just what I needed especially this week! Love listening to your rambling creative thoughts. I retired last year and while I thoroughly loved my work I now am enjoying having more time to pursue the many other things I enjoy like knitting and spinning and nature and reading and…..
Hi Emma, hope you don't melt. I remember my Father talking about hot summers in DC when he was there as a British soldier during WW11. Your shawls are gorgeous and I think the pressed flower cardigan will glow in your chosen colours. 🇬🇧
OMG 105 degrees and playing soccer and elite sports! NO NO, that is wrong .I am so happy that you have this space to work through the ideas in your head. Your dyed fleece reminds me of Jello. I do appreciate your videos. thanks.
I watch this working on a sock heel turn so they can return to being a work project, while I have a stranded project and lace project next to me on the couch.
I'm watching and not knitting- a few less than satisfactory projects recently that require me to get inspired/motivated. What I want to do is start something new but gave myself permission after ONE of my iffy knits is done- either completed or frogged. Having a limited number of needles imposes discipline of a sort.
Loved this episode! And how you incorporate spinning/hand spun as well. All my favorite things!

All the joy! Love your philosophy.

Yes - 6am is an ideal time, but it's so early and if my caffeine hasn't kicked in I feel so gross!

I think part of me can't wait to retire!!
I’m knitting your Anne Elliot socks in Mondim for the Summer (or not here in southern Australia) Sock Sprint. ❤❤
Glad you are back! Your green sweater (colorwork) is so pretty! And your socks are, as usual, amazing Stay cool!
Thank you so much!!

IT does look like Jello!! The soccer game ended up being ok because there was a breeze. I did feel bad for the players, though.

I know exactly what that's like - zone-out projects and thinking projects!

Will you be including your mod notes on navelli anywhere?
I can put them on Ravelry!
2023 fleece or clip. Sometimes if you bought it in 2024, but was shorn in 2023; Archie from the 2023 clip, spun in 2024?? Hope that's clear?
That is clear! So useful!
