    I just remember sitting most of the time playing flash games IN ENGLISH, and thats probably the reason I know english, since I just contunied watching videos, movies, and eventually one day I just realized.
    "wait a minute, i can speak English!"
    Truly awesome, it's the same way I learned Russian as my third language.
    (Ukrainian is my first language, russian is still common in Ukraine and Ukrainian media)

    Came for the skeletons, stayed for how related the content feels to my own learning experience, I feel I did everything you said when I was learning english. I'm currently trying to learn russian and german, I haven't tried switching my games or videos to the target language yet, I will start to do it right away! Thanks for the tips :)

    Well, I also acquired English by "spawn" and I even didn't realize it myself: my fella told it me, when we both begin watch a movie. He a profound English user and translator, when he not a native user. So, when we been on 30 or so minute of film, he suddenly paused it and ask me, why I don't asked him for subtitles and not asked any meaning of words so far. Then I realize, I finally learned a ENGLISH. I also recently tried learn a third language, but I miss something in "learning". And you tell me what I missed, thanks, now I can more easily learn 'n help another in acquired desire language.

    That's why i stopped learning further languages, it's so boring to find a reason for learning while you just simply find the language cool.

    I speak a Romance language, which helps me understand languages that share words with those of my language. I don't know those languages very well, but the similar words make me understand the texts. An example is Portuguese or Italian. In the case of English, even if I can't write it, I can understand it in the form of videos because our alphabets are similar. But in the case of Japanese, Russian, Chinese or Korean, I have no idea what the heck they say, nor can I relate the things I see (symbols) to the letters I know. (Russian is the one I recognize the most)

    I'm a native Chinese speaker Living in Taiwan.
    Having acquired English myself gave me an advantage in school work and information gathering skills.
    About 99% of the people around me always having difficulties in these things so they come to me for help.
    But acquired a language doesn't make me a teacher about it.
    I want to share your videos to them to help them aquire English too, is it possible that you can allow me to translate some of your videos into traditional Chinese?
    I would perfer it only being captions that they can turn on when watching your videos,but im not sure if youtube still allow community made subtitles.

    how would you or someone "spawning" a language, in contrast of the traditional methods of learning would deal with new alphabets, like for instance the russian cyrillic or mandarim? (a good time ago i also tried to spawn/learn russian, but ended up frustrated by this)
    also great videos you made

    • @AleynRhine
      @AleynRhine  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Well, I managed to learn the Cyrillic alphabet in one week by constantly writing names and words using the Cyrillic alphabet.
      Like, Aleyn as Алэйн. Or skeleton as Скэлэтон. I'd suggest just keep writing words you already know with the alphabet you aim to learn. Have a sheet with all the letters written, and rewrite your words as closest as you can.
      But languages such as Chinese, character system instead of letters, is where things get tricky. I think the best way for it would be acquiring a certain vocabulary level in Chinese by ear, and then associate the words you learned with the representative characters. Still, since I never tried learning Chinese before, this is just a theory and might not help.
      As for Cyrillic, or other languages with different alphabets, this trick works wonders. That's all I have to say :D

    Thank you again for such a genuine, and informative video!! Though I'm curious since it recently came up between me and a friend of mine who's trying to learn Japanese - do you think the same methods and tricks can be applied to acquire a language that doesn't even share a script, or is that where the boundaries of what's realistically possible begin to show?

    • @AleynRhine
      @AleynRhine  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Realistically speaking, one can learn any language with enough practice and focus. But languages such as Japanese requires a little more investment on the alphabet, and also memorizing specific characters. I would say, however, that Japanese has a comfortable structure that is a tad bit easier to stay in mind.
      Words such as "Arigato, sayonara, ananta, watashi" and many more are easier to notice by ear thanks to Japanese's structure, each consonant comes with a vowel and they often produce words hard to confuse with others. Japanese is, at least by ear, is easier to grasp via continuous practice and discovery.
      I think the part where you and your friend will need further study is the alphabet. But I don't think it is a must to fully grasp the alphabet before you can start learning. Just always have a sheet ready, memorize letters whenever you can, and try writing down words you know (Japanese or not) with the letter sheet. Referring to the list and using the letters is an efficient and permanent way, I learned the Cyrillic alphabet in this way. I'm slow at reading but fast at writing :D
      In a nutshell, things can get tricky with each language. But once you get used to its nature, all it takes is practice. I wish you two an easy and fun journey!

      I would recommend you a cult group for Russians «КИНО». The plots of their songs are like about something heroic, a little sad. Many young Russians associate their with doomers😁 But everyone in Russia knows this group. And another one very popular even now it’s “Король и Шут». They wrote horror tales stories in their songs and they can contain some rare words, but anyway, it must be very interesting to touch their art. But if you have genre preference, I can recommend something more specific
