- Raju's cottage, a homestay located in Gushaini, Himachal Pradesh, it is nature's very own retreat. If you seek for a peaceful holiday or workation or a long stay away from the city crowd, surrounded by mountains and valley, then this place is for you.
It was my first experience at homestay and I wondered why I haven't been to any homestay earlier? And that's because we are simply not aware of the beautiful homestays operating at the beautiful destinations. In terms of publicity, it is extremely difficult for a homestay to compete with a mega corporation hotel franchise. And in their essence they aren't meant to compete with hotels. They present their own niche characteristics that hotels simply cannot provide.
I tried to cover a beautiful homestay I recently visited during my Himachal trip in my TH-cam vlog. Though a vlog cannot provide a actual vibe you get at the location but yes it can definitely create awareness for the homestays provided by localites , by staying there you cannot just visit nearby tourist places but also experience a local culture.

I like the way this video is shot. And the way you've spoken. I just felt the video could have been shorter. Ppl usually don't watch travel vlogs that go above 10 mins. And I also wanted to know about various costs, possible modes of travel, dos and don'ts, the pros we have heard but also the cons.
