Hello here, thank you so much cor your tutorials. They have been really helpful. Please can you do a continuation of this particular tutorial 'how to now work on the imported drawings to create axis and all sir'. I do anticipate a good and quick response.
Thank you so much for your videos you have really done a good Job. Please do you have videos on Prota structure and staad Pro? For Prota structure i need more explanations on Practical foundation designs and explanation of parameters being used.
I really love your tutorials, its more better than the ones I have seen so far. My question now is in the plan that you used, why would you have up to 43 columns and beams, is it economical for a 2 storey building at all ? Since a load bearing wall can do the work. I need an answer please, I'm learning.
Thanks, there are different types of load bearing walls. A load brearing(structural) wall actually carries the weight of your building, from the roof and upper floors, all the way to the foundation. walls which transfers load, as such they should be reinforced to aviod falure. I think, to reinforeced a column is more economcal than a wall section. Also this design is to BS code and the material considered is concrete, i try to maintain mininum span in other not to have excessive deflections on beams which could promt me to explore other materials.
hello @cadteacher, after importing my dfx file it's showing lines that were not on the original drawing in AutoCAD. Note I followed your tutorials on preparing the architectural drawing for structural analysis.
