Bring back Rob Booker. I want to hear more about Knoxville and the divergence 😃 (stupid emojis).
Maybe I don't know what I am talking about as it would be 2 interviewers. But you should have Aaron Fifield on.

Linda Mentioned that there were friends of hers who could see what is going to happen, Did she mention what kind of study those people took to be able to do that? I have a few of my own but definitely would like to learn more

This is one of the best trading psychology interviews I've seen. She discards all the silly concepts that are constantly repeated as mantras, like A+ setups or journaling, etc. Anything can help and anything can hurt in trading. It depends on need and why you do it. What I get from it is being self-aware and able to identify what's happening in the markets and in your head.

It is so true when she said that when traders increase the contract size, they start focusing on the money rather than in the process and it leads to the fall. True story.

Really, really good gems in here. It is so refreshing to hear someone acknowledge that meditation, good sleep, hydration, journaling, and the like, while important, are not sufficient in and of themselves for success as a trader.

Having a Trade plan and some SetUp to be followed is a must . You then follow a select few stocks and look for the SetUp to materialise over there. It is always better to have a few trades based on your SetUps and be overall on the winning side as compared to switching strategies and trading daily , only to be losing more . As we gain more experience we can improvise.

Great interview as always. Thanks Etienne's; you give more time to interviewee to speak more and extract golden nuggets unlike other interviewers they speak for themselves too much. Hats off to Mandy, she knows the business. When you say checklist, do you mean follow your process? There is no exactness in this game; regardless you follow your checklist you'll still lose your confidence and money. I would say controlling your loss and letting your winning run is a key but its a psychological issue to let the winning run

My immediate issue is pulling the trigger, but I’m making progress on that, it’s a matter of trusting your system and experience.
As far as sizing up goes (Which contributes to my pulling the trigger issue) I sized up to an uncomfortable size and forced myself into it. Now if I go smaller I feel like Im wasting my time, thats for scalping. Longer term bell to bell or overnight swing trades I’m sized down.
As far as getting pissed off at myself, I’ve gotten to a point where I feel better losing a trade than not taking a trade at all.
If you’re strategy suddenly isn’t working, welcome to the club, don’t take it personally, the market doesn’t always cooperate with you or anyone else, it’s a fickle bitch. Sometimes you need to sit on the sidelines till the smoke clears. It happens … probably more often than not.
All in all it takes time and experience, you gotta be patient, and don’t spend to much time in a simulator or papering. You gotta put in live trading time, take your lumps. There’s no way around it, you won’t know how it really is until you’re in it for real.
