Greetings Sir. Please why didn't you put the internal moment for the joint at 5kn. Since there's no pin there I think there should be a moment there.please kindly help me to explain that area. I'm a student engineer.
This is a pin ended rigid frame structure and pin doesn't resist moment while in your case we can't analyse because one beam & one column don't make a frame structure.
why did you take the moment at point B (ΣMb = 0) and not at point A (ΣMa = 0) which is a roller support ? whereas in another video with a similar portal, you take a moment at a point that has roller support. please see this th-cam.com/video/8zpzKgefNvA/w-d-xo.html
you can take it on any point you want. The only criteria for selecting a reasonable point is to select a point with MAXIMUM forces passing through it. In this way, their moment arm and subsequently, their moment will be zero. In the above example, 3 forces were passing through point B, so it was selected. I hope this clears your confusion. Thanks.

Best sir in India
Incredible sir you are the best sir... thanks for teaching students sir...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks and welcome
❤
Love u sir
In this there is no support B, 5kn and A support will be fixed how to analyse

great video, thank you
Glad it helped
Hello sir I have a doubt
Yes..
@@civilengineering94 In this assume there is no support B, 5kn and A support will be fixed how to analyse
Nice video. Can you also do one with both supports A and B Fixed?
Yes I will do
