    After fitting the camera to the drone, maybe you need to calibrate the IMU…and compass.. this is a cool video, btw! 😎.
    Maybe try active track!!!

    So that works and you can make the drone invisible once you export the 360 video right?

      You can't directly make the drone invisible, as the lenses of the 360 camera are both quite far away from the drone itself.
      There is an insta360 camera called the Sphere that allows to make the drone invisible. I never tried it though.

    I liked the way the 360 footage along the road almost looked FPV style. That's alone is very interesting as in the UK you can't fly FPV without a spotter

    Awetome, I have this same combo and been thinking about doing this.
    By any chance... Did you try placing the X3 under the drone?

      I did but it was very wobbly and felt like it would lead the drone to crash. A better option would be to hang it from the drone using a sufficiently long piece of string, just like what helicopters do to transport cargo in the mountains. I might try that one day :)

    Et, ce drone a t'il la possibilité de te suivre tout seul en moto (allure modérée...)?

    • @jerometabeaud9400
      @jerometabeaud9400  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oui, le DJI Mavic Air 2 a la fonctionnalité ActiveTrack qui permet le suivi automatique d'une moto. Il ne faut cependant pas dépasser les ~30 km/h pour que le drone arrive à suivre et ne perde pas la cible de vue. Par contre, attention aux espaces encombrés (forêts, villes/villages), le drone évite certains obstacles mais n'est pas infaillible. Il a un peu de mal avec le suivi en côte dans le sens montant aussi.

    I was thinking about hanging it instead so I can get “usable” footage but I’m not sure if too much spinning will confite the x3, haven’t fully tested which settings would work.

      Exactly, it would probably be more stable, but might spin like crazy. One fix would be to tape some kind of aileron in between the lenses so that the camera would align with the wind. It would most likely only work when the drone is moving, though.

    What helmet is that you have

    • @jerometabeaud9400
      @jerometabeaud9400  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, my helmet is the Scorpion ADX-1. It's an "adventure" style helmet that allows for closed visor operation as well as slim googles operation for more hardcore enduro, when you need to breathe AND see what's coming in front of you without having too much wind/water/mud/sand in your eyes. It also has a retractable chin guard, which is quite handy to drink from a bottle quickly without having to remove the helmet entirely. Also handy when you want to talk to people during a quick stop.

    What microphone do you use

    • @jerometabeaud9400
      @jerometabeaud9400  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In this video I only use the internal microphone of the Insta360 One X3. In other videos I use the Movo VXR10 (small shotgun mic with a cold shoe mount), and the Movo LV2.
