We are an artificial tree family. Being an army brat, it was easier to have it readily available once household goods arrived. Additionally, my mom is allergic to the real deal so we have a fake tree in case she comes to visit. We also do the warm yellow lights. 😊 Yay for the $1 savings challenge!!! 🎉

No, I have a white one in my living room on my bookcase that is decorated per season. it stays up all year. It's fun to come up with themes for it. The other small one is in my bedroom. It is only up for Christmas. It is purple and decorated with various shades of purple. @@thesimplebudget
