Hey Brendan, awesome video thanks for sharing! Did you happen to measure the weight savings compared to the stock front brakes? having trouble finding this statistic... Thanks!
What kit did you order that come 's with the caliper bracket you show in the Video. I have the B4148wc2 and the bracket in this kit requires you to cut off the original caliper ears to mount the new ones , making it impossible to fall back to original brakes. The only way is to order another set of knuckles for stock brakes fall back.
They do great, they are more noisy but they stop amazing. They aren't recommended for daily driving but I only put about 3k miles on my car a year now so I can't say how they would hold up on a car that sees the street very often.
No braking issues that I have ever noticed but you do get codes and the red brake light warning will stay lit as well as the abs light. Using forscan i was able to disable those lights though by changing the as-built data in the IPC module.
Not to my knowledge. You'll either have to buy some or make some. The ones I bought replace the factory rubber lines. They do hook up to the factory hard line fitting.
whats the weight savings from stock brakes overall for rotational?
I'm not sure since I previously had Brembos installed on mine. I would think it's still a pretty decent amount considering how light these brakes are.
I switched out My 2011 stock brakes to this setup & saved 47.4 pounds
Dumb question. You couldn’t re use stock brake lines ?
No, the threads on the new calipers are different and require different fittings.

Haven't measured against stock brakes but against the brembos I had it was a 60lb reduction.
@@BrendanMilteerthx for this video It made my purchase & install a breeze 🙌🏼 weight savings was 47 pounds from the stock brakes 😎
Nice I just bought this kit what did you do for brake lines ? You make your own ?
I bought Wilwood AN lines to adapt to the factory hardlines in the fenderwell.

The kit I used is in the description. B4152WC
Hey Brendan one more question, you have had these installed for a while now. How is the braking performance at the track and on the street?
They do great, they are more noisy but they stop amazing. They aren't recommended for daily driving but I only put about 3k miles on my car a year now so I can't say how they would hold up on a car that sees the street very often.
Do you have a part number on the brake lines you used by chance?
Sorry, I'm just now seeing this. The Wilwood part number is 220-9111.
@@BrendanMilteer you have to order two of them! So it’s 200 bucks for brake lines !?
No that part number is a kit with the lines, brackets and fittings. It is sold a a pair.
Any issues with the abs sensors not being used? And codes or weird braking issues ?

Do the stock lines hook up using an adapter

Brendan Milteer but that’s all needs to be replaced as far as plumbing right? Nothing at the master cylinder?
Correct, just the line in the wheel well.
How often do you go through pads?
Have yet to replace them but I only put about 2,000 miles on the car last year.
@@BrendanMilteer Okay, thanks.
