had a war axe get oozed by 4/3, played silithid, it got ignored and he developed tortoll defender. i swung in with arcanite reaper and summoned a free taunt pirate. he death coils my silithid, gluttonous oozed my arcanite, and dropped poison snail. i then play forbidden tentacles, and got cleared by the dreadlord. i ended my crappy warlock warrior deck on a one win arena. fun.
Not to pile on but why in the world did you pick warrior and warlock? Seems like a terrible combo, if you get the warlock hero power then you're just dying too quickly if you use weapons (the main reason to even take warrior) and if you get the warrior hero power then you're stuck with terrible warlock cards for no reason. I believe you probably had extremely poor luck but you can also take it as an opportunity to recognize where you might have made some strategic errors yourself. The power level of this format is absurdly high for obvious reasons, you have to maximize your own chances of getting a ridiculous deck. You may still get unlucky but at least you'll know you did everything you could.
A) i picked warlock and got a choice of hunter and shaman, and i was dumb and thought there would be synergies with warrior B) i did not get a good deck C) i don't play arena ever, though i watch some of kripps videos on the matter D) that last game i got diced harder than kripp does on a regular basis, i admit that. still the most BS hearthstone game i've ever had.
The combination of Warlock and Mage has been incredible for me. I've drafted two so far. Mage with Warlock hero power was first and it was the best deck I ever drafted. Every board clear possible and three insta kill cards. The only flaw was a lack of early minions. Thanks to that deck I went through the insane power creep that is arena and, after playing perfectly, went 4-3 because I didn't draw the boards clears or removal that made up over a third of my deck. It also has a ton of early game to go with the board clears and intense value cards. Every card has a purpose in the deck. If you want the ultimate defense in arena history give the Warlock Mage combo a try.

I did an arena with rogue priest and it went insanely nuts playing with both classes i ended 12-1 (and i lost that one cause my internet wanted to do some mambo) just shaowstepping and copying some value battlecries.I felt more poweful than lich king.
That's what Heartharena needs to fix. If they see you have a prince they warn you to not take cards of those values, not say "We need a two drop" when you have Keleseth.
please try rogue. with pretty much anything. rogue has among others the peddler that discounts all class cards of another class. then there is the 3/3 weapon for 4 mana with a 1 mana discount for every class card played from another class. you get thieving synergy with your own deck.
wait... if you have a arena deck made before the event, does it get destroyed? (since you get an adition ticket) if so, the old sniper decks are over? that would be a big change

Kripp, how should I go about trying to get into competitive hearthstone? I don't stream or post TH-cam videos because I feel like it would be extremely tough to gain a large following. I'm from South Africa, so the competitive scene isn't massive, but there are tournaments here and there. Any advice would be much appreciated.
There are just way to many stupid combos currently in this gamemode. Many which you can win from turn 1. I went 11-3 with Priest and Warlock which 2 of my opponents quit before turn 3 because of a stupid turn 1 or turn 2 play. For me even though it was a gimmick was Bloodblooming into free from amber gave you such a strong push even if they managed to have a answer by turn 4-6 you would just win because you had a board they don't. I turn 1 coin bloodbloomed into free from amber into y'shaarj then he pulled a Bog creeper out of my deck... Turn 1 16/18 stats... Another one I did Gruul on turn 3 and turn 4 did it again and pulled deathwing. To be honest Bloodbloom is way to broken to be in dual class because warlock has a lot of weaker spell cards that don't give them board advantage after casting the spell. There are a lot of classes getting an early spell out can give you a MASSIVE advantage really Ultimate infestation on turn 2 or 3. Pay 5 life.. draw 5 cards deal 5 damage get a 5/5. Could even do firelands portal or even call of the wild. You could lose so many games by turn 2-4 because of these stupid combos. It was fun to play for a bit but some of the combos are just WAY to strong to keep as a permanent gamemode without tweaking some cards out of it.
Played against a Warlock Priest today he had both Shadowreaver Anduin and Bloodreaver Gul'dan and Kripp thinks he is never lucky....I still won though :D
