    I’m only 6 minutes in… about to thread the bobbin, I’m just smiling ear to ear listening to you with all of your little noises when you explain… You’re so cute! This is exactly what I need before opening my presents under the Christmas tree tomorrow. So excited

      It was so funny… Right from the start you said “hey I’m not a professional sewer…” That’s what made it so great… and how you kept messing up fabric for thread and even the name of the machine…😂😂😂 So real… so just putting yourself out there and helping the newbies! I even showed my husband. He was all… look at how that bobbin does its thing! And he too smiled when you threaded the needle ha ha!!! That was a cool moment! Thanks again

    I bought this sewing machine a month ago. It took me 3 weeks to get the courage to open the box. After I opened it, I saw the accessories and said "Huh... maybe tomorrow." 😅
    I have never once used a sewing machine, so this video is perfect. You'll get more than one watch through from me as I try to set mine up. Thanks!

      I love it so much!!! I promise you’re going to enjoy the heck out of it. (Hint: remember once you set everything up and put the fabric in, to put the foot down) it sounds so silly but I kept getting this crazy E3 error code and drove myself to tears trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and it was the presser foot just wasn’t down. 🤣🤣🤣⭐️💀⭐️
      I’m like “why am I like this!?” 🤣👏🤣
      Happy sewing amiga!!!

    I am a brand new user; I purchased this machine simply to hem my pants. I was very intimidated when unboxing my machine; I thought there were so many parts I was going to have to install prior to using - I was mistaken. Thanks for taking the time to walk me through the initial setup. I am now ready to hem my first pair of jeans on my new machine. I'm quite sure I'll be visiting your other tutorials. Thanks again.

      I'm so happy to hear!! I love hearing about how I could help wherever I can, you guys are doing so awesome. I've really found that this machine is super first time friendly. It does look like a ton of stuff at first, but you'll see (half the time) we don't use much other than like the walking foot and the zipper foot. 😂

    • @StephenPierce-xu2ju
      @StephenPierce-xu2ju ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Better than I anticipated. Within a couple of hours, I was wearing the jeans. It took a little longer initially because I didn’t want to make a mistake, so I was extremely cautious before making the first cut to cutting the threads when finished. You will do well, just be confident.

    Tango - thank you. Excellent tutorial. I was out of practice, and this was a new machine to me (inherited from my mother-in-law). I was in the "hot mess" issue under my cloth I was sewing and was stumped. I had missed threading step #4 and #5 (back up, over the hook, and back down). Don't know how I missed that, but it did the trick. When you pointed out that the issue was tensioning if that was happening, that led me to the problem.
    You also showed me some tricks on this machine I didn't know...the automatic threader is amazing. I can thread that needle in seconds now (rather than minutes, if I'm lucky).
    Great job - thank you!

    I appreciate your video. There are so many good things about your video that it's hard to mention anything negative, but the machine will not sew correctly if the thread is wound around the tension disk for making a bobbin when threading it for sewing and be sure to thread the thread guide right above the needle.

      @@tango5150 You're very welcome. So happy that this info helped and that you know I wasn't being mean. BTW, when threading the upper thread for sewing be sure to have the presser foot in its up position. When threading the needle's eye have the presser foot down until the eye of the needle is threaded and place the thread under then over the needle threader guide (looks like a little duck's bill LOL). Be sure the needle is in the correct position by lining up the grove on the hand wheel to the seam line on the side of the machine. Always turn the hand wheel toward you and never away from you. Read the manual very well. It's all in there. This sewing machine is a nice one so you've chosen well.

    Do you need to draw up the bobbin thread after doing the top thread with cs7000x

    • @tango5150
      @tango5150  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So this may be one of those, do as I say not as I do, and maybe someone with more experience can tell you why I'm wrong. HOWEVER, I've been sewing for a little over a year now with this machine, and this is the first I've heard of Drawing up the bobbin thread. (I did research how people do it after you wrote this comment cause I was like "Oh boy what am I doing wrong" lol)
      But no, with all of the bags I've done, the only thing I do is place the bobbin, I place it so the thread unwinds clocks wise, and then I draw the thread around the little metal plate (it's the little part closest to you) then I replace the plastic cover and pull the thread up and under the sewing foot.
      Like I said, it may not be the correct way, but it's how I've been doing it for the passed year and I don't really notice any sort of issue with that method. HOWEVER, because you've got my wheels turning, I will try to draw it up and see if it makes a difference and will report back ASAP!!!

    • @tango5150

      Yes, both the bobbin and the staff spool at the top should be filled the same way even if it’s the same color string.
      Rather if you’ve already done this and you’re starting a new project using the same string I’d just recommend making sure your Bobbin is full.
