Global menu chat is used to discuss with friends which br and which nation you want to play and is very necessary if you are friends with randoms in the game with whom you only communicate via the game.
coming from warthunder I feel the boxes were pretty generous I spent like 120K silver and got 2 squads, the Uhu scout plane and i think like 3 guns (two pistols), was really hoping for the luftfaust or flak panzer I but overall neat for "just" a play time of 80ish hours
They should move Tunisia map into "Mediterranean area" and add some Italy map with BRIV and BRV tech. Manchuria would also be nice. Both BRI as early clashes between Japan and Soviets. And also BRIV+BRV from times when at the end of WWII Soviets totally devastated whole 2 million Kwantung imperial Japan army in few months and ended WW2 because Japan islands lost all resources from this large territory. And I would love to have the lone fighter mode back in standard game mode. I really hate those extremely stupid AI bots and prefer to play with one guy alone :) I would like to see ISU152 which exist in game, but is not available (yet). And they should make I-16 as regular plane and add premium I-16 with two 20mm cannnons instead. It was one of most numerous planes in Soviet air force at the beginning of Barbarossa, but we do not have it available. Similar with Czech LT-38 tank used by Germans. It is only in premium, but I would expect the standard one as regular tank with 37mm gun. And premium using the uparmored version or even experimental version with 50mm gun. That would make some sense as this tank was used a LOT by Germans through initial part of WWII. For Japan I would add banzai squad with like 15 guys, but only capable of carrying Arisaka, 10 rounds and one grenade. No medkit, no TNT, no semiauto, no pistols, no backpack, no engineer, no AT guy, or radio in squad.. just pure banzai meatwave :D Matchmaking based on BR does not work since there are always stupids who have some basic BRI or BRII squads, but they got some gold weapon or lootbox BRIV/BRV weapon and they give it to somebody. Then im constantly killing guys just carrying Mosin or Kar98 or driving PanzerII and T-70 in BRV battles. I'd love to just see ongoing battles to be able to join like in custom mode. Showing players, their BR, map and you can choose.. that would be best. It works in all other games. I played COD2 for long years for example. And having replacement would be nice. Global chat is good if you want to play against friends :D
Hey admiral , isn’t major McDonald just a community manager ? He just announces news ,updates , events etc. whenever you ask or tell him something he just says he will pass it on to the “higher ups” or “soon ™️” Maybe im wrong but to me he’s just someone who posts about the game but doesn’t directly work with the game . He pushes the things that are more important to implement. Like economy changes and 2024 road map to be made and made public. As a CM that actively plays the game, too, he knows what's more important to come first, to suggest and make sure devs know what's urgent and important. Yes, I guess he doesn't work with the game directly.
Over playing Japan in any BR when play as USA I hardly ever get Normandy campaigns anymore it’s an actual joke and low BR USA hardly win a game against the Japan
Japan has a lot of very good players that don’t fuck around. So does the US, but there are way more players, so the skill is diluted a lot. The other night I played a match where the stars aligned for the US and a stacked team beat the crap out of us; it’s rare though.
@ I have over 60% win rate on all other campaigns but Japan I only have 35% playing as USA I played a game the other night as USA br3 finished the game with 254 kills to loss of 11 squads with a cap rating of 4.5 next best play on my team had 154 with 15 squads loss the next was 35 kills with with 25 squads lost and we lost that game too I get more bad teams playing as American against Japan I can handle the losses on others campaigns cause the team as a whole try but on the Japan campaign everyone just seems to not want to play the objective and camp miles off it trying to protect there kd I’m assuming cause there not doing anything else
@@maineiacman I don’t see anything wrong with K&M support in a game where the majority of people you shoot are bots.. but to satisfy the casuals i think forcing crossplay like cod would work
Customisable voices could've been easily implemented. Pure laziness by the devs. No doubt we'll all be charged to change it by individual squad member.
This game has a year or two left tops. Darkflow burned too many players who gave their game a chance. There's barely anyone left compared to launch - thats a fact
Where’s your evidence to back up your statement? It’s not fact, it’s your opinion. Last year has been the best year for content and QOL changes. This game will be like war thunder and have a long lifespan.
Totally agree. Lower br is pretty good with crossplay on though as the balance is better less br3 when your playing br2 for example. Or if your running br1 there’s a higher population with it on. High br is pure pain with crossplay on. I wouldn’t mind joystick support though to make flying easier.
@NeilSmith-y3x it's more or less even footing with cross-platform at low br but the range of motion and target acquisition definitely still gives the advantage over controller, but we add that to br2 and up where there are semi autos and sub machine guns things get way out of hand, and I firmly believe adding mouse and keyboard support to console would only diminish the low player count as is. This might have worked with war thunder, but these games are also apples and oranges when compared.
As a console player, I am waiting on pins and needles for them to give us mnk on consoles but do hope that the option in the settings would change to mnk or controller, instead of console or pc. Guess I don't know if that's technically feasible or not. The only thing I'd miss is exploiting the aim assist for quick aim, bolt action kills.

mnk support is needed as a ps5 player using a controller is way worse then a mouse and keyboard even more so in this game

Same for Japan, I get its new, but it’s like a 24/7 de_dust2 server in CS almost. I know nearly every nook and cranny on it now.
