Thanks for the great question! Yes...it certainly is. Even though this video featured primarily Jazz piano it is perfect for Classical music as well. The Clavinova has a touch so refined (wood key; escapement; graded hammer, etc), when the volume of the CLP-845 is set so essentially 'loud is loud and soft is soft' mirroring the acoustic piano, the practicing and performing will be so similar you can go back and forth from digital to acoustic without any issues. Many students are doing so!
How is the weight of the keyboard compared to a regular piano? I'm interested in whether it has a touch close to the key of a regular piano. One model that had a good touch for me was the ydt s30
The touch is very convincing. There are more action upgrades in the CLP875/885. Personally, I feel this is the best action you can get under $4,000. Very easy to play/control with superb response/repetition. The action paired with the new sound system design makes for a very good product.
@@athanasiosdovas1419 Most definitely! It remains one of our most popular and reliable models that we sell. Every week I show these to quite a large number of people and they've been extremely impressed. Personally, I enjoy the new sound system which is very clean and balanced.
I love the Clavinova!
Is it possible to study classical piano on it?

Isn't it rather the Grandtouch-S?
Lighter than the Grandtouch.
Yes, I forgot to add the 'S'. The CLP845 has the Grandtouch-S
