I dont get it why so many people are saying its like after because it is not this a full rom com movie but after was just a toxic relationship thing not even 1 scene actually makes me laugh but this movie got so many yes its not perfect last 30 mnts were actually not good looking like they were in a rush to end the movie but it is waayyyy better then After and these two actors have so much real chemistry and have a good sense of humor 😂 because they actually can ACT its so fun to watch ❤❤ its just my opinion
Yeah I completely agree, when I first read the description I thought it was very After coded but when I watched it ,it actually made me laugh which I wasn't expecting. This was kinda like After but non- toxic and the male lead was not infuriating like in After.

I agree this is so much better than After. After is all about toxic relationships and I find it soo boring Tessa and Hardib have no chemistry at all lol
i agree with you, the director is the same as after tho but it’s true actors are better. the real problem is that the book was completely different, i don’t really love the book but i think they should have respected the plot more. i liked the comedy they put in the movie cause in the book some part where far too serious for the type of plot.
i’m convinced this entire movie is just a jab to the YA romance movie, cos it was so unserious, like i was laughing until i can’t breathe with the dialogues and the plotline, it was too funny like even the supposed “romance” part of the movie was comical, so i considered it a win in my books for the comedy 😂😂😂

They need to do this movie over again. The did the book so dirty!!! Same people…well same Travis but they need to do it over again.

When I think of the Sprouse brothers I think of them in big daddy and friends and just assume they are still 5...it doesn't seem that long ago. Weird to see him at 30 playing a 20 year old. He did a really good job, I believe him as travis. Honestly the writing kinda feels like a clip show for the book though, like they breeze through the main points real quick and then it's over. The writers completely omitted a lot of context and its kind of just a jumbled mess, Plus it's straight up inaccurate compared to the book. I really think this would have been better as a short Netflix series and not crammed into one movie, there is just too much missing. I do think the actors all did a great job for the script they were given, but I don't care for the writing itself
