Our 2nd home. Beautiful place.
It is critically important those runway lights are on. Should the power go out, I am pretty sure they have a back-up electricity generator. Lots of places have them, like hospitals and nuclear power plants for example. If the power were to go out for some reason, the generators would automatically kick in.
if i could see that view every time i flew maybe i wouldnt feel so nervous on take off and landing
denise h that’s even sure. You can make a flight with a small single engine aircraft, with a flight instructor, Seeing what happen and how will help you a lot for travelling ;)

Never fails to fascinate me, how can it possibly fly.
It's pretty easy, I used a simple piece of paper from the printer to show it :) have you ever seen a guy doing this experience ? I can find it again if you want.

Lanzarote is most beauty place ine the Europe. We been in january last year, in february this year and we going in september this year but on 2 weeks ;)
I never stayed there, but I would like to trust you, from above it looks amazing!
Lanzarote is gorgeous I was there from IRELAND on holidays and it’s lovely and sceneric I would recommend staying there

You are certainly talking about the PFD (primary flight display). To make it very simple, you have here the most important informations that you need inside an aircraft (fighter jet, small single engine, or airbus and even the space shuttle...). You have speed, altitude, heading, and the attitude of the aircraft. In fact it don't really go to the opposite. we have a flight director ( a representation of the aircraft) on our PFD, and when the aircraft is turning to the right, this FD is turning in the same direction. Blue represent sky, and brown earth. SO finally when you have a look, you'll notice it's in the "good way". And to make it harder, some old Russian aircraft, let say it's the opposite. The representation to our aircraft don't move, but everything move around it. It can be a bit difficult for a pilot to use it at the. begining.

I am flying for a German Airline, operating from Nuremberg and flying to most of the time Canary Islands, Greek islands, and Egypt
We call it "ND" navigation display. Here is displayed our route. And yes, it's the range of the map. You can select it with 10nm, 20, 40, 80; 160, 320nm. You can also add some informations like the weather radar to see what's happen in front of us, or the Terrain in front of your aircraft, the airport around you, etc...
I fly my sim there all the time in the fs labs, i like 21 app vor

Btw ... i also fly my own Boeing 737-800 from and to Lanzarote 3 times a week !
