For a change I found your arguments very rational. There is a public fatigue in India to bear with terrorism emanating from Pakistan and Govt is representing that sentiment in policy decisions. Unfortunately, Pakistan ruined their economy and created an anti India population stemming from two nation theory. It’s still not too late for Pakistan to rejig its policy towards India. Pakistan can benefit more from having good trade and diplomatic relations with India. There’s an enormous potential that Indian consumer market offers. It’s very unfortunate countries across the globe leverages this but Pakistan who’s at stones throw their leadership has blinkers on their eyes. How can Pakistan benefit from? Don’t need to be a rocket scientist , besides general trade that has billion of dollars potential. Good relations can address your food inflation, that has made lives difficult for the middle & lower middle class and miserable for poor. 2. IT & Higher Education - we produce world class talent , why can’t Pak youth benefit from this. India has opened its institutions in UAE why not in Pakistan. 3. Health - India thrives on health tourism , why can’t your population have access to quality and affordable healthcare. 4. Maldives, Srilanka, Thailand, Korea, Turkey, Australia, South Africa , even China and Europe spend millions of rupees in India to woo Indian tourists. If Pak can normalise as a country can actually have a good tourist inflow from India. Rather than demolishing temples , you can restore the sites and create opportunity for religious tourism. 5. Last but not the least , Pak is majorly a non manufacturing country why businesses can’t collaborate to give thrust to manufacturing in your country. Indian businesses invest worldwide and Pakistan is a no go area. All this can’t happen in jiffy but Pak leadership, businesses & civil society has to revisit their Hindu India hatred and ask themselves a candid question, what have you gained chasing this policy for 75 years !

India gave MFN status in 1996 AFAIK. This was part of India's deep interest in seeing SAARC succeed. Pakistan however clubbed Trade with JK and destroyed SAARC.
There should be no trade with India until the Indian govt brings back article 370 & 35A . Pakistan should trade with with its other neighbour china which is 2nd largest economy. There should be no trade with India. There should only and only be Kashmir.

Why complain ? India gave Pak Most Favored Nation (MFN) status in 1990s which was never reciprocated by Pak. Rather Pak kept on with its nefarious actions against India. After Pulwama in 2019, India decided to withdraw MFN and imposed 200% duty. It is surprising you are talking about now of Indian action which happened in 2019. Were you sleeping since 2019 ??

When India granted MFN status to Pakistan, Congress was ruling the country which is more like a defacto Muslim league party and the party's job was to appease Muslims of India as a votebank. But Pakistanis consideed us always as a "Dushman mulk: " , hence they never reciprocated us the MFN status and yet congress party never reacted, nor did the BJP, so that they need not be considered Pakistani bashers. This 200% tax on Pakistani goods imposed now is nothing but withdrawal of MFN status. Hopefully matter clear now.
