What about a pin-hole "lens" challenge in an upcoming week? They're so simple to make yourself out of a camera body cap and I think that could be an absolute blast!
Hey Toby, did you get my tweets? I need help choosing between the Panasonic GH4 and Sony A6300 for 4K video. I'd like a 4K camera for indoor, non-action video recording. Thanks!

I don't think he has time for this kind of question (He must receive a lot if them everyday..). you could check the sub reddit /r/askphotography there should be a lot of people there willing to help you with that kind of question
+ViperSolution Many of the challenges could be completed with a mobile device - this is the first where it is basically impossible. Check out the list though and we have had winners in the past that were captured with mobile devices.
Hey Toby. I have a question totally unrelated to this video. I am SORRY. I have a NIKON D5300. I want a 50mm prime but nikon doesn't sell them for DX format anymore. Will image quality and sharpness be affected if I bough a 35mm 1.8 FX lense for my DX body? BTW awesome video. That's why i am sub. I bought my Camera based on your review! Thanks
+Bao Do Why not get the 35mm 1.8G DX? It's the equivalent to a 50mm FX. Same performance. It's also cheaper than the 35mm FX. Unless you plan on moving to FX eventually, then go for FX. Otherwise you might run into vignetting with a 35mm DX on an FX body.
interesting challenge but flairing can be issue, but can you please do review of tha tamrom 28-75 because as I'm a armature i want to buy that lens after a while i had seen few reviews of it but those where not in such detail & i wanted to know how it competes against its bigger brother 24-70 how close or how far is it in your opinion. please let me know if you can
+Surya Pandey I have this lens, and I generally love it! (I have the pentax mount) It's really sharp, and an incredibly useful range. My copy does flare occasionally, but granted I mostly use it at concerts with a lot of harsh spots and almost no ambient, which begs for flares. The AF is kind of noisy, and does hunt ever so occasionally (again, mostly in torturous concert conditions), but is pretty fast. Probably about 80% of the shots on my flickr in the last five months are with the tamron, if you'd like to see 'test' shots: www.flickr.com/photos/128386266@N08/
Thank you so much zoe i had seen your gallery i really liked you images specially those concerts photographs. I'm a travel & landscape photographer thats why i want that lens Zoe Bazilchuk
Subscribed not just for the amazing content but seeing you reply to so many commentators. Wow, good job!!
Thank you Toby, I will just use bellows, my own device I made few years a go, my 3K Nikon and lens, so far has no dirt, don't want to start now. :)
+Michael Faraday Very nice.
This is very interesting! I really want to enter this challenge!
+Koravitch Doungchan Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Interesting, I can get similar effects with my Lensbaby. Have you ever done a Lensbaby challenge?
+Thomas Santomartino I actually meant to say something about the lens baby, yea it is the same thing, just more controlled.
+Thomas Santomartino and we haven't done a lensbaby challenge... Yet.

+SteveOTheMan16 That's a good idea - I think the Northrup's did a video on it too - we will just point people to that : )

Do you guys do weekly challenges for mobile devices?

Doesn't the 28-75 have an aperture ring on it? Or is that just the pentax version?
canon version does not
Wow!!!
+Асяня Yes!!!
I must admit that I don't find any advantages of using autofocus lens for this :-)
+branislavpetkovic lol great point.
