Yes Jack Jones sounds so much like our mate John Farnham infact about 30 years ago a group of Oz comedians called D Generation did a sketch/song called "5 in a row" and Jack did the voice for John.

And I said what he was doing on guitar was superb. Because it was. And he is meticulous on guitar and gifted with his voice. Pure talent. And a heck of a gentleman aside from that.
Let’s just say from the outset, that I was never a follower of Southern Sons ….BUT… a few years ago I saw Jack/ Irwin in Concert…. And just sitting there, Listening you really appreciate what a singer and a Talent he is….. It was a wonderful night out ….someone that is under appreciated in this country…. And should be more widely acclaimed… Yes …. Close your eyes and parts of his voice are truly Farnham… I think he would welcome the compliment.
