You're right too, I must say. But, again is demonstrated, I'm sure this guy wasn't thinking about the genre he was creating when he did this great track, or was he? So, apart, let's enjoy this music and let's forget about classifications. :)
I'm a music producer. He says this sounds like trance mainly because the sequenced melody line is really like a tipical synth sequence in trance music, but at a lower tempo, and without a four to the floor kickdrum or big hat sounds. So, you both are right: this sounds mainly electro because of the short decay delayed melody lines and some 808 sounds, althought it sounds trance in some way because of the sequence. ;)
I'd like to see a Boris Divider video with a real comand line hacking scene. What about a video collaboration between Divider and the people of Backtrack/Kali Linux. They already colaborated with Infected Mushroom, it wasn't a hacking scene though.

I don't think Neural Networks will be this visual in the future. A neural net will be inside titanium capsules however.
