I’d say the golden age is the world at war-mw3 (original) but I remember playing these old ones with my dad when I was younger good times, very nostalgic
for me this was golden age cod1 with united offensive and call of duty 2. I never liked modern shooters. WW2 shooters are my favourites. Ice and Fire please do United offensive. Classic CoD was so much harder.

This game was incredibly ahead of its time. If you payed attention to detail, you could see how wounded soldiers get dragged to safety by fellow soldiers. Anyways, all we need now is a remaster

The best cod in my opinion. Nobody telling you where the targets where. Like "take that mg" "take that panzerschrek and blow up that tank" it was all up to you and what you see. You see an mg? you decide what to do with it. Dont know where is the enemy that is hitting you? You have to look more closely.
Fps games were better with the old formula of having to pick up medkits to restore health instead of it regenerating straight back to full after 2 seconds.
@@yodaddyrc1220 the gameplay loop was just better with those games, more exploration, secrets, no regenerating health after 2 seconds behind cover. Its makes even the harder difficulty settings just lamee to me lol

Missed this game. This was my first even pc game and played these for thousands of hours since im a kid. I even memorized spots where its good to throw grenades and flank enemies

Sadly i got windows 11 And i got alot of Disc games that you can't really get anywhere digitally And i can't even play them or install them so yeah windows 11 just is bad
