I feel like the T-55 is very underrated as a PvP fighter. It may not have the missile capacity of the F/A-26, nor does it have the stealth qualities of the F-45, but it can be deadly in the merge, especially if you can force a rate fight on the deck.
Plus having a person in the back seat is really big for providing increased situational awareness which is really useful in any PvP engagement.

@@dubyaaa in order to achieve your best rate, there's an optimal rate speed dependent on things like altitude, TWR, lift produced by wings, etc, and the F26 has a better rate than the T55 if they do the right rate speed
@@EyosYT Idk if this is in vtol but the F16 two-seater has a tighter turn radius since its center of mass is further back in the plane.
Been watching Growling Sidewinder? :P Personally, I think the planes lose airspeed too fast in VTOL VR. That being said, the planes can also reach an angle of attack like a F-22 with thrust vectoring but half the engine power.
Perhaps I took some inspiration :P

Hey - question, how did you record a S-CAM of your interior view and of being shot down at 2:42?
I use an external software called LIV first person stabilizer for my first-person view and S-Cam Chase TGT 40 for my external view.

Where did you find the information on the best turn rate for the tyro? Is that information available for all aircraft?

@Eyos Wow! Thats that kind of thing ive bee searching for. Thank you! One thing i did notice was that you chose to use flaps in the radius fight and none in the rate despite what the notes in this reddit post say. Im curious about your thoughts on that.
@@flop22222 For me in practice Ive found that if Im using flaps in the 55 and my opponent isn't I tend to lose. Though that is just my experience and the data might say otherwise
How much fuel was on the FA26? I noticed you have about 40% in T-55.
We kept the TWR of the two planes the same for this video.
I don't feel like the vertical is the best place for this thing

In the 55 do you prefer sitting in the back or the front? Me personally I enjoy the back more
I love just chilling in the back and using the weapons. But for flying, the front is the only way to go in my opinion. Especially for carrier landings, it can be hard to see the deck if you are flying in the back.

When you buy the T-55, does the person who bought the jet sits in the front or back. And can you switch seats With the second person in your plane?
You can choose which seat to sit in when you pick your spot in the briefing room. You aren't able to switch seats mid-flight though. To change seats during a mission, you must go back to the briefing room.
The real question here is why didnt you use flaps 1? aka combat flaps

why are u using flap ?
It can give you an edge at getting your nose on if you have enough speed. But increases drag.

Okey one dont use AB in a dogfight this fucks up youre movment also in Vtol flaps one 1 is combat flaps this will also help a lot

But let me explain it for you like this
When using after burner in a dogfight youre pushing to mufch trust why turning gets way harder and this is normal
When you pull down the trust this is were youre mobility get way better yes you lose speed also normal why you need to learn how the plane handels so you know how to fly it properly its a classic and the most commen mistake i see players make in Vtol
And that a training yet like this loses more speed and has a slower accaleration time is also normal

@@FlockersDesign AB doesnt affect rate or radius preformance being at the right speed does i just checked with a friend therefor having th AB on is more favorable

I was not so after burner is only used by takeoff on a small airstrip or career and only in a HIGH manuver in a dog fight and not all the time and not in the entire dogfight and CAN be used to prevent a stall but other then that its not used
