jacobson084 agree with you. We saw this movie in the mid of 90. I still think its a great movie. Thanks to Brad. But i dunno what this movie lacks to gain a cult status.
I think the biggest thing that kept this movie from cult status was its heavy reliance on references to other movies or their directors. Nice. :)
"Grimo wormtongue" .... LMAO! That was freaking hilarious!
Finally coming to blu ray this year from Kino. Can't wait!
Absolutely LOVE this movie, this dourif, this junkies, this girl and this Machine. zang-zang-clang-clang wzzz!! watched it 5 times since 90ths
11:55 Quick someone do IHE reference!
Maybe Brad Dourif's most insane role. A lot of fun.
"In downtown blade runner" lmfao
Saw this movie when it first aired on the local Fox affiliate in 1994! Still watch it whenever I've had a bad day or when I want to see some good schlock!
It's basically just Baxter Stockman with one of his giant mousers that he used in the Ninja Turtles
Is that the guy who plays wormtongue in lord of the rings?
THIS MOVIE IS GREAT! DO NOT ARGUE!
It's worth arguing about, however I agree with you about it being great.
I love that line lol.
@Mr. Lumiss That's incorrect. Woosh is used for people who don't get a joke. You see any jokes here? Neither did I.
@IG-88 DO NOT ARGUE! is the joke, the OP was obviously referring Raimi's goofy shouting.
What if they dumped the body in the ocean after he died in the building? That way, the cops ruling it a shark attack isn't so stupid, especially if he was supposed to have been killed by the title monster.
William Hiers what if they have a shark tank
Joseph Ochoa Ha ha... it is to laugh
This was such an awesome movie..... i've watched such a long time ago, i've nearly forgotten all about it. Time to track it down again!
i can think of other good Crazy performances.
Like AM from the game 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream'.
I haven't played that game, but I hear it is based on the story of the same name by Harlan Ellison. That story was a major influence on James Cameron's The Terminator, even to the point of being acknowledged in the film's end credits.
Not a bad one, Brad Dourif is awesome in it.
I had this on VHS at one point.
Brad Dourif was also in 3 episodes of Star Trek Voyager, playing you guessed it a murder.
bro you had me dead with the "oh hi Mark" joke
Cant believe I didn’t get the joke when he said it 🤣. Thanks
Glad I took your advice on this flick!! It's AWESOME!! Just bought it on DVD!!
He should do the movie MOON TRAP with Walter Koenig and Bruce Cambell
I remember watching that as a little kid, and was confused as to why CHekov didn't have a Russian accent. Hey, as a little kid, I thought Koenig was a Russian name.
