Re: This stuff around 12:50 about mirroring your opponent's language, I'm not sure that shouting at them in a language that they don't understand at all works, either. In fact, that was kind of the premise of the effective joke about Hillbillies reading the New Republic.
Chapo has a lot of funny jokes, and some of them are pretty insightful. But there seems to be absolutely no interest at all in drawing a consistent line of reasoning through them. That wouldn't be worth mentioning if this weren't a specifically political podcast.
