Keeping me on my toes and throwing in a Wed.. Love it! Have made this in the past......Great for a nice hot weather summer sipper. Glad to see that back in the brotherhood of the bearded.
Apparently great minds think alike. I made 3 quarts of lemon moonshine this morning. My recipe was a little different. I put a sliced up lemon in a quart jar with a 1/4 cup of sugar and topped it off with 80 proof likker. I made your pineapple moonshine too!
I made 2 quarts today! Omg this is good! But I did cheat on your recipe…I used Country Time powdered drink mix with the juice from 1/2 of a lemon and it worked out fine for me! Thank you for your recipe and video. Now I am making the Sweet Tea Moonshine umm
Hey, James, yes you can! Combine juice, sugar and water to your desired starting gravity, ferment an distill. If you ferment to an SG of 1.000 you will get a dry spirit with huge lemon taste and aroma. You always backsweeten to taste.
when using citrus mash/wash . adjust the ph with baking soda because it will be very acidic. and the yeast won't work off right. just my 2 scents / pointer.
Great shine recipe, Randy! I make mine from fermenting fresh juice, sugar and water, let it ferment dry, then distill. The spirit has a wonderful dry lemon aroma and flavor. You can always backsweeten. I make limoncello from the lemon zest and then juice the naked lemons so they don’t get wasted. Two recipes from one batch of lemons. Cheers!
Here is another idea how about wine coolers have u ever done them. I like ur videos I have made ur shine so far hot damn shine, and blackberry shine I haven't done the peach shine yet. Thank You Tom Doyen MInnesota
the definition is alcohol that no taxes have been paid my definition is a corn based alcohol like corn liquor plus you can post flavor said corn liquor

How long does it need to set up ?
Lemonade shine I like it best after 24 hours but it’s good right after you mix it
Randy, how about a week of making hard seltzer like u did with shine
That’s interesting have to think how to do that I like my week of stuff thanks for the idea
Could u use like the regular lemon juice instead of squeezed lemons ?
Yes you can
