4/28/2024 3:20 am 114 Austin St. 1876 Barn Fire.
One Person Was Burnt on The Hand and Hair Melted. Was Taken By EMS.
No one Else Was Found To Be In The Building at The time.
Crews Worked to extinguish The Fire and Any Hot spots.
Then Returned To Service.
Thank You WFD, WPD, WEMS, Keeping Us Safe And Making Us Proud.

Wow, haven’t seen one of those in a while. Had to be arson to be that far before those guys showed up but as usual they busted it out. Great job everybody nice photography once again good job.

That's been a dump for decades. I had friends a little further down by Mason St. I hung around with in the 70's.
I lived There Then Man, and This Was My Hood. Sad To See It Go Down hill. Stay Safe Dizzy.
That building on Austin Street had been abandoned for some time. I think someone just got the taxpayers to "fund" a demolition job. Very Suspicious fire to me.
I was There when It Came Down and The Home owner Payed for It This Time. But The Fire Is Under investigation and We Will Know Soon, Stay safe Dizzy.

How long is "so long"?
Seriously, at what time does the tower arrive, and at what time is it put into service?
With that said, once an aerial of whatever sort arrives, you first have to find a place to position it. This includes having the proper access to bring it into position, the proper width for the outriggers, the proper slope, the proper surface to bear the weight, and the freedom to swing & elevate in a useful manor (trees, poles, wires, etc). Also it has to be a place that is actually useful for its operation, no sense in placing it where it cannot reach or have a good approach. Lastly, can the water supply handle the master stream, and do you have the pump capacity to provide useful psi/gpm.
All of those things have to be considered *before* you make the choice to bring it into service 👍

Sorry Penny, It's an Old Barn That Was Built in 1876 and Was Behind The House at 114 Austin St. The House Was Built in 1880 and Taken Down the week before this Fire. Homeless were staying in there from time to time and No one Knew how Many people were There at The Time of the Fire. They Though between 1 to 5 unaccounted for, so We were There for Hours after Watching The Search for Anyone Else The May Have Been there. No one Was Found. I did Video The Tear down and The Video Will Be Up Soon, Stay safe. Dizzy.

@@udizzy1969 when you walked up around that one vehicle before you actually got to the burning house it looked that vehicle was pretty close and at 3:00 a.m. if a fire like that's going don't you think people would have woken up I know I would have and I would want my vehicle away from that better safe than sorry and you should know as a firefighter that fire can do some crazy shit a gust of wind a section folds up the house starts something else on fire are the house blows because of a gas line you know all that good stuff LOL just saying cuz we all know shit happens but awesome video
