What surprises me , is, w/all the hustle & bustle of Christmas, you guys, were troopers, and, worked on and completed this project! Amazing job!
Many years ago HGTV had tutorials on marble veining. They would actually almost lay the small skinny brush down on it's side, holding the brush by using your thumb and pointer finger, and in a rolling and dragging motion glide the brush over the surface. Also for areas they suggested dragging a feather over thicker areas to blend. I used this technique on an old dresser top. The veining is more noticeable on this technique however. Everyone always comments and thinks it is real marble. It actually makes larger and smaller veining in the roll as the brush is dragged. Yours looks great. Just thought I'd share my experience.

I love how its turning out! You should do the black handles on the white cabinets and the long gold handles on the black cabinets so then it all ties in together 😊

The handles are lovely but my opinion is the black with gold it will blend with the black island beautifully. I love the transformation!❤

This is the best transformation I've ever seen! You & your husband are amazing to get this done! What patience that must've taken. Oh my gosh, I'd have gotten tired and given up with that veining. Beautiful job, can't wait to see it all done! BTW I love the long brass handles best.
