In regards to the stying, when viewed from the side the thickness of the body (height) is evident and clunky. Maybe a lower blacked out cladding or just lower blacked out paint would fool the eye into a more slim styling. Also the rear end is not appealing and I wonder if they would have styled a secondary window panel under the rear window, maybe would bring down the unnecessary height and provided more function over style. Just my 2 cents. 💁♂️
Looks like BMW did not fix the issue with the DCT taking forever to get going from a dead stop. I found it absolutely laughable how long it took our loaner X1 to get going from a stop. It's a solid half-second delay between my foot pressing the pedal and the car actually starting to move.
Also the standard suspension in our X1 loaner was pretty stiff. It was pretty harsh over most impacts. The window sticker was in the glovebox, and it had an MSRP of $47,000 or so, including the Harmon Kardon sound system. I have not driven the M Sport, but maybe it would make the ride somewhat better.
It’s pretty unbelievable to me this is acceptable by their engineers. If you’re going to taut the ultimate driving machine, at least make it responsive off the line.. just odd because everything else about the trans is fantastic

I’m with you, it needs SOMETHING back there
The snowy trees 😍
The Pontiac Atzek was really ahead of its time after all, or at least according to BMW’s design group.
🤣🤣🤣
Which would Walter White drive?
