They aren't something you see everyday. They seem to be built very strong. How did you like the manure spreader? Yep, Rock Valley Iowa is where they were made. Thanks for watching.
Slow lol we have junk equipment. I worked a 13 hour day today and I hauled wagons for 6 hours and we did probably 30 loads but they started 5 hours b4 I started lol long day
pinesedge farm I understand I helped my Dad 50 yrs ago doing it that same exact way now our farm hires large John Deere forage harvesters with supporting trucks to do it fast plus not having to own the equipment great video also
Round Prairie Dairy I've heard stories too but if you stay on top of maintenance they are just fine.We usually service them every 100 hours or once a year.

The Roorda forage box sure works nice for you. It operates quite smoothly...
They sure do, thanks for watching.
RED POWER !!!! LOVE IT !!!
You can get a small extension for the chopper to help fill the wagons full. My neighbors did on the chopper that fills the covered wagons.
Fred Cupp we actually have an extension for it but due to wet field conditions it didn't pay to fill the boxes completely.
pinesedge farm I understand. We have jack knifed wagons before in wet conditions.
Nice job, great video!
Thanks.
Lot of horse power on that blower
LOL, I'd rather have a lot of horsepower than not enough, been there done that. Thanks for watching.
Nice equipment but never heard of roorda before.

what kind of wagons are those?
Thomas Johnson Westendorf 12 ton with Roorda self unloading boxes.
I’m looking at buying a nice used harvestore, but I’ve heard nightmares about them. How often do they break down on you? Thanks

When you are filling them, run the silo unloader once every other load (with the sweep arm stationary) to prevent it from getting pinned.
