Thanks for bringing back the full shows Dennis. Hey..that kellison A true to life Frankenstein car. Only difference is it all marries together perfectly. Not slapped together!
@@styldsteel1 I got a chance to see a Frankenstein 2-door wagon. I was impressed even though I don't like 2-door wagons. I told the guy that owned the car that he created a masterpiece.
That Kellison is awesome. I hope that one day I'll have the time, money, and space to build my own custom car. I don't need something with perfect paint, chrome and a big expensive engine. I just want to be able to drive around in something that I built myself I would definitely drive that Trabant to work and back daily. I don't know if I would want a convertible. But early 60's Mopars are beautiful And early 60's GM cars are awesome too. Especially the rare ones
I was at this show! My dream car is the Factory Five Type 65 Daytona Coupe. The owner of the one with a ford 347 took me for a ride in it. One of the best days of my life
The best-selling 1991 U2 album "Achtung Baby" has a Trabant on its cover. I recall a number of music magazines, in articles about the band and the album, explained what a Trabant was and where it was from. That's how I learned about them anyway. U2 used a Trabant as an allusion to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the emergence of East Germany out of its former isolation.
The speedo has a 3 color drum in it. The red goes to the max mph shown which is probably 120. I was asked one time to try and fix one but couldn't find a drum for it. I used to be an instrument tech at a GM/AC Delco repair shop.
I was at the world golf village at a bike show,. I was looking at 3 cylinder, 2stroke Kawasaki. Suddenly there was Dennis Gage. I told him the story of my first bike. It was a 1976 KH 500. Used, lightly crashed, 2200 miles, for $500. Years later I saw an episode of tripping on two wheels and since then I have regretted that our brief discussion was not about him riding from Indiana on a 30 year old BMW.
I heard that after the Berlin wall fell there was a controversy about allowing Trabant's on West German roads, especially the Autobahn. I believe their allowed on regular roads, but I don't know if they can drive on the Autobahn? ;-)
It's the 1948 Kurtis-Omohundro Comet prototype (#2 of two prototypes). Intended to be made from fibreglass, but aluminium was used due to postwar materials shortages.
I love the way Dennis immediately puts people at ease and gets them to animatley talk about what is obviously their passion, and not just a hobby!
After getting the chance to be featured by him, I could not agree more.
I have to admit that this one of the shows I miss the most on tv or stream!
Yes, same here
Must agree with your statement
That Kellison is fantastic, and the owner did a great job with the interior and the rear fenders too. Love it!
i cant believe Dennis has been a part of my life for 50 years

This is the best Frankenstein car I've ever seen. And I have seen some weird cars before.
@@johnnymason2460 i agree. They're not my interest particularly but I can certainly appreciate the work that goes into the build.

The word is kit car.
No one does it like Dennis. Have been with him from the beginning, keep it up Dennis ❗️🇺🇸
Thanks! I appreciate that!
What a show. Great cars, Awesome owners and very entertaining host. Always enjoyed the show. When TV was real.
Thanks
What beautiful cars!
All very beautifal cars 💌

I absolutely love that Kellison, I want one of those done up JUST like that, though maybe with a Chrysler Hemi!
The Kellison...BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤
That thing is a monstrosity... thats the guy that put out all those crappy lambo copys in the 80s.
i've been to this car show a few times, it's a great experience
Enjoyed!!! 🤜🤛 🙂
BEAUTIFUL CAR..WOW..he's a true craftsman..
Great show! Thanks!
The Kellison, spectacular.
I had a 1973 VW Type 181. It was also yellow. What a fun car!
The olds starfire is a cool car.

You have done a great job with Bills Story and his achievements with this Exxotic super car.
BRICKLIN ,love this car and the owner sems like a real nice fella too
That Kellison J5 is so freaking bad ass, the dude that finish it is as well.

The Oldsmobile Starfire is so gorgeous. Too bad they don't make cars that good looking anymore!
That may be a Killison, but that man created a unique car ....besides the body, it really is all him.

The Kellison and
Super Bee are my picks

It was actually 40 years old at the time. 🙂
@@MyClassicCarTV guess again Dennis, 41!
7:58 such a beautiful car!
Jag vette Aston zagato
I love the 1978 Buick Riviera silver anniversary edition
🎉
J5 👀
loved it!
The 87 Trabant , 45:1 premix as it’s the environment edition.
The trabant is currently on a 50:1 mix running a semi synthtic 2 stroke oil. It helps keep some of the smoke down.
Walks past a 959, features a supercharged Bricklin. Love ya, Dennis!
Arguably, a blown Bricklin is even more rare.
@@MyClassicCarTV Absolutely. Rarer, more intresting, way more cool. Your show is so good, thanks.
We’ve had some pretty bad weather on Long Island lately but all of us classic car owners are getting antsy just waiting for a nice day
It was so hot like Dennis said, that the blue '56 (?) Jaguar was taking a leak in public @ 01:36, the nerve of that cad classic car I do say Nivens

Not 270 Dennis it's a 170 slant 6, Great show outside of that blooper.
My corvette was put up for the winter on October 19th it was snowing on Halloween
A 'Field of Dreams'...Unless you were the one having to wax and polish. ;)
I also love the 1968 or 69 Buick Riviera
"like it could've been made in the 60's" - like the candy apple paint, the bling wheels and the modern instrument dials...
Candy Apple paint is from the sixties.
Oh my!
👍💪
I wanted to see the Cheetah.
doesn't. The mini Cooper pickup not that it could carry much of anything.
What the hell is that curvy blue car at the 2:30 mark????
Watching this episode, it might not have ever been a production car. Someone might have been really good with fiberglass
@@styldsteel1 I hope the hell he covered it and will release it in a later video!

@@ezghthrt7733 thank you!
The only way that Bricklin could have decent HP was with a blower. Those cats were absolute junk. Almost as bad as a DeLorean.
So you're saying a 360 AMC engine, and a Ford 351, can't make horsepower, and compare them to a Renault V6 powered slug. Not an educated comment.
The east german car was definitely Russia esp in the 80s
Trabants while made for the east gemany market only, Yes after the wall was down many made way to other former eastern block homes.
