@@tta1390 I think you will like it, there’s a lot to do! I would suggest looking in the camp north end or south end area for an apartment because it’s really social so it’s easy to make friends and it’s right in the center so you can get around easy. I would say stay away from the university area. There are a lot of college students and a lot of petty theft.
@@SaintedWhisper There was not any flooding in Charlotte NC in particular but there were a few power outages due to fallen trees and things. The heavy winds from the storm is the only thing that really impacted Charlotte.
@@hannahkamara9306 My advice for Durham is to tour the neighborhood during the day and once at night before you decide on your place because there are some rough neighborhoods there but there are also good neighborhoods because of the students who live there and even professors. Checking it out at night is how you’re going to tell the difference. Durham is definitely on the up and up because a lot of tech companies plan on bringing business to the RDU.
There’s a decent amount of things to do in Durham, they have good food, some good bars and parties to enjoy. Don’t sleep on their downtown area and their parks like the Eno river or Sarah P Duke Gardens.
