I either use bomb and pellet wrapped in paste or wafter or a special g with a small wafter or a 4-6mm boilie on small swan. 25 and the opposite peg area prolific peg in the warmer months, there's fish on that bar all the time boshin about.

Only if up to an island mate, never in open water

He isn’t using a clip, he’s just using judgement to cast in the same area, there’s no need to be on a sixpence as he isn’t fishing towards a feature :)

"Yes, u Can" keeps accuracy in the feed area.
When you cast to find the initial range, the rod is lifted from 3 O'clock to 11 O'clock and then clipped.
So when you recast to the clip with the rod now at 11 O'clock and wind the reel down, this compensates for a carp that runs...
