try this method 10 years ago brilliant method to be on.it is just like shallow fishing for f1 6 to 10 inches on top. you just let them take the laggy out of the end of the pole.awesome video got to try this method again.
What a crakin video son I take me hat off to ya the amount of fish you catch with so many different methods you don't just talk about doing it you do it time and time again well done stay safe son many thanx
Never tried method on the pole before but it looks effective enough 👍, I even made a video on fishing with carrots yesterday as your video on fishing with beetroot made me want to try something new 👌
Buddy. Roughly what is the distance between the feeder and elastic, must try it but want to get it right first time please? I',m thinking you could also use I float if you wanted to?
You mentioned elasticated Feeder So do you think guru Xsafe Would be better or would you still just go inline with no elastic or would it be better with elastic Xsafe of course Cheers Ben.
Why use a method feeder on the pole on In the ede when you can do the same job with a 9 foot feeder rod with a small method feeder the results would be the same without damaging a top kit 👌
Its a very dangerous method I cannot understand why people would use it i no doubt tmy comment will be taken down as i am concerned sbout people using it
Gerald I agree it can be dangerous but so can short feeder or bomb. Although the risk with this method is a higher risk. If done correctly It can be safer lighter feeders, longer line playing fish with the correct angles. This said its not something I do. But people were asking me so I tried to show it the safest way I could. Thanks For your feedback.
@@Angling4U OK thanks Ben was not having a go at you I do enjoy your videos but on this one about method feeder on the pole I had to show my concern about it tight lines mate and I appogise for any thing I posted previous
It is a bit iffy and I fish with my son but always make sure he moves well out the way when I hook one. Had a couple close calls when I was new to it but always have it so it will be well away from me if I get a hook pull etc. Safe if you think about what you are doing.
Another Great Video Ben..! And thinking outside of the box.! Epic.
Glad you liked it!
Enjoyed this thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Paul

Nice 👍
Andy Findlay was doing this year's ago when he used to long line to island margins where it was impossible to reach with normal pole gear
Hi Buddy. Trying to work out how much line between rod tip and feeder once the depth is accounted for please?
Around 1ft or 18inch if a little windy need to keep a tight line though
Just brought me a 10m Edge monster margin pole £175 .Can't wait to try it out Sunday
There great poles really strong I use 18 hydro really tight for dow the edge had a 17 out last week on it
Have Fun Shane remember to tag us in any photos on Instagram angling_4u
Great video
What are the advantages of using a pole to do that over dropping a a feeder in with a rod? All I see is issues with using a pole..
to stop foul hookers, more accurate than rod & with it been a short chuck line doesn't go through the margin as you hold it from above.
Pole is deadly
A great method
Thanks
Nice video...whats the pole?..
Preston response margin bud got a few reviews on it check out our pole review playlist cheers

@@Angling4U Big thanks.

It would work but most venues want you to use inline
That's what I am saying Ben could you use Xsafe because it's still inline Cheers
Good video as usual Ben
Thanks!
Another good vid
Glad you enjoyed
The question I would ask is why would you do this on a pole when a rod is easier and better.
more accurate than rod & with it been a short chuck line doesn't go through the margin as you hold it from above.
You have direct control over the fish, and it can be deadly on the day, it also works at places like Boddington Res 👍
Better accuracy with the pole I imagine and I can see this being really effective in the margins at the end of a session when the big carp come in
🔥
Swan lake ?
Swan yes bud
Oak tree that pal
Great way to fish Drop in and hold on 😆
You got that right!

Can that method be used in comps
depends on venue
Looks like a great crack!
What about finding depth of water
Just give a little more line than you need then trim it back same as making a pole rig
Good video 👍
Thanks 👍
