Another Days Fishing on the Solent ( Bass, Smooth Hound & Doggies)

Short trip out today with Derek hoping to find the odd Plaice and Smooth Hounds. left at 10.00hrs for Hillhead area was on our way home by 1400hrs due to thunder and lightning.
Fishing was slow picked up a bass first drop . Then a few dogs turned up followed by a small smooth hound and another few school Bass Final tally 3 school Bass , 5 doggies & a smooth hound all caught on Rag worm running ledger rig and Cox & Rawle size 4 scratching Match and size1 Aberdeen perfect hooks .
