In this Video Editor Reacts, I react to Ariana Grande - thank u, next. This is my first time watching any music videos from her and I wasn't disappointed! I didn't realize this was just a Mean Girls music video! I will definitely do more Ariana Grade reactions if her music videos are this good!

so the “plastics” are her cousin Courtney (Gretchen), one of her childhood best friends Alexa (Karen) and Liz Gillies (Cady). The guy playing Aaron Samuels is the same actor who played him in the original Mean Girls movie! (which is why he starts the video saying “Ariana told me my hair looks sexy pushed back” it’s yet another reference to the movie and funny bc it’s like Aaron is saying it himself)
This guy? Thats Troye Sivan!
And the guy that looks really familiar when they walk down the hall? Yeah thats the actual actor from the film 😂

The toothbrushing scene with the guy is actually the start of the Bring It On section, that scene is ICONIC in the movie.

Don't forget the house scene where she carries the dollhouse is from the movie, 13 going on 30! Also, there was a whole controversy about Ariana revealing that Pete Davidson is very well endowed so that is what is being referenced in the nail scene with the "big tooth" joke

Yes she did, she saw Ariana do an imitation of her on Kimmel she called to give her kudos. Ariana invited her to be in the Music Video, and she even is in more of the extended edition. Jennifer has said so many times that her career was in a bit of a pause, she felt forgotten, and Ariana shined a light on her. Since then she has been shining more than she ever has before. NOW, I truly believe that she could’ve and would’ve got everything she wanted but it is AMAZING to hear her tell this story. ❤

Also Jennifer Coolidge!!!!!! Love those movies
